My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 35

Let me not beat it round the bush. This week update has to be a good one. Why? Because things are looking up!

The glass is half full

I was just thinking tonight, and counting my blessings, I felt grateful to the Powers Above (no religious reference, interpret the powers in whichever way you believe).

Without wanting to tempt fate, this year has been a much better year. My mental health was deteriorating last year, in spite of reducing my working hours in November. But I guess I only started ripping the benefits at the beginning of the year. And yes, working less hours on my 'day job' had given me more time to work on this venture.

And yes, as you know from my previous updates, it's certainly not been plain sails all the times at all! But I am now getting in a routine of publishing two posts per week, whilst proceeding with my learning at the same time. And it appears that this newly found rhythm suits me just fine.

Two more hours to go...

... till the end of this week. But I feel so re-energised, that I intend to use them to finish my post tonight by inserting pictures, links and then publish.

This week confirmed the theory, shared by many, that the summer sees a decline in online activity. Because this week I started getting referrals, and a small sale on my Amazon affiliate account.

This may not mean much to many, but to me it's massive achievement, after I really thought that this was the end of it and the myracle may not repeat ever again.

I suppose what helped was the fact that I started working on marketing and interacting on social media. And that goes to show how important working on your marketing strategies is.

More to do

But, again there is still so much to do.

For starters I am intending to look on further training on making best use of Instagram, and Google Plus again, which I am still struggling with.

And of course the plan is to move forward with Bootcamp, where this week I only managed one lesson.

I am still looking for best autoresponder providers, but that will take a little longer as I don't want to rush in hasty decisions.

Lesson learnt

Now, if there is a lesson I have learnt this week is this: try keeping a positive attitude, even when you do not achieve as much as planned, because it is with a happier spirit that you can write better and you can learn more.

"Do as I say, not as I do"

And on this note, I wish you all a serene and productive week!

P.S. By all means and as per usual, I know you are a generous bunch. Share the love and click the 'Like This' green button, and of course leave as many comments as you can.

Keep those positive thoughts at the top of the menu. You can do this!

I hope you are right Judy :)

Great to know that you've found a routine that works for you. Half the battle has been conquered!
Pat

Well, the problem, Pat, is that I have found routines before, and then it all fell down to pieces. But hopefully this is going to be the good one :)

Keep that positive attitude, Giulia! Love reading about your progress!

Thank you Veronica. I hope you are well xxx

Hi Giulia,

It does sound like things are looking up for you and that is great news. The regular posting schedule and your social media contacts sound like you are on the road to bigger and better things.

Great Work!

Barbara

I can only but keep trying, Barbara. But thank you ever so much :)

Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing this.

Robert

No problem at all Robert.

Good moring Giulia, every day is half full day. We just have to keep our spirit high with the challenges ahead. I too struggling with the usage of all the media marketing but I guess we have to learn and do thing one at a time.

I blame my age for not getting the jist of social media as easily as, possibly, younger people (and before I am accused of it, no, I am not agist #lol). You look much younger than me, so it's reassuring to know that you too are struggling in that field #lol

Keep up the good work and great attitude

Thank you very much Pablo.

Hi Giulia...what a lovely post. Something good always happens when you least expect it :)

That's right, James, just when you least expect them.

And I hope all the surprises are pleasant and make us smile :)

Thanks for sharing, Giulia.

You are welcome Roger :)

Keep on with your growth Giulia. If you cover all the WA training (Quite a job) you can start on Udemy courses which are like advanced level!

You read my mind Mike, as I am thinking of writing a review of Udemy. I actually started registering there, but desisted, I guess due to lack of experience and expertise. One step at a time, I suppose.

You can start an array of their courses from the simplest basic WordPress on!

I should definitely have a look at it again, thank you Mike :)
