My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 30 of 52
Only 22 more weeks before 2017 is over. Scary!!! But, how much will you have achieved by the end of this year? Are you on track with your goals?
If I were to give a title to everyone of my weekly updates, I'd have no choice but to entitle today's post 'The week of nothing'.
I have had a few weeks where I have struggled to keep on track with my 'to do' list. But I didn't have such a bad week like this one in a long time!
I started ...
I managed to start so many different things, but hardly completed any. The one task I brought to an end was the one post (yes, only one!!) this afternoon.
Otherwise, I started some training. But I didn't finish it. I started another Bootcamp lesson. But I didn't finish it. I started working on my social media account, but I didn't do any follow up work. I started working on exchanging comments here at WA, but I didn't see my work through.
Lesson 1 for new comers: never, ever, ever work without a written plan!!!
Catching up is hard work
That's right, whenever I fall behind on my schedule of work, I try to catch up. But that's really hard - because you end up trying to combine 2 weeks in 1.
So, what is my plan of action for this coming week?
Ideally I should publish a post between tomorrow and Tuesday, with my 2nd one to follow Thursday. But I am not planning on going through any lessons, as I know I have to prepare for my hols next week. Yes, back home to Italian land to visit my mother.
I expect I shall time to go through Bootcamp lessons whilst I am away next week.
So, lesson 2 for new comers: measure your strength, and do not try to reach unreasonable goals when you know that you have other family or work related commitments.
With this in mind, I hope you have a productive but stress-free week ahead of you. And remember, never loose your main objective: sharing your passion with others.

It is good to have a plan set out but one should not take too much hay on one's fork.
I go to the movies with my better half and we combine that with a nice meal, one should enjoy life.

My down time is walks with my dog. And of course my telly programs. But the beauty is that I can go for days without watching them, as I record them and then I can binge watch them all at once :)
Setting realistic yet challenging goals can be difficult. I know I can relate to your experiences. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

This is a very timely thing for me to read. Juggling the regular job, the second job, rehearsals, and getting this website off the ground and running is going to take careful planning, a lot of balance, and patience with the universe and myself. I think any of us with the entrepreneurial spirit inside have to watch out for overextending. I'm looking forward to keeping up with your weeks!
Well, I feel I've disappointed you, Trace, as I had to miss on my update of last week. I was getting really busy, getting ready for travelling to Italy, where I've been since last Saturday. My son and I are flying back to UK tomorrow, so I'm hoping to be able to start blogging again at the weekend :)
My daily diary misses days. We're all juggling a lot. :) I look at it this way. Updates are good. When they happen it is a good thing. Why add pressure?
