Do you know when you are going to websites looking for ways to earn money and products to enhance your websites, you are sometimes getting malware installed on your computer without knowing it? Malware is often setup on these websites on purpose to track you, get your personal information, and can damage your computer.

Go to https://www.malwarebytes.org and click on the For Home button to download their FREE tool to get this stuff off of your computer and protect it. https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download click on the Black Button for the Free Version (You Do Not Need to Upgrade for personal use.)

This is a new version if you already have Malwarebytes on your computer. This new version of Malwarebytes is setup the catch the newer malware.

The story about how this product was developed is pretty cool too. The founder was 14 years old when he started. Read it on their homepage.

I just wanted to share because I am so tired of malware! I can tell sometimes it is on my computer because it makes my system slower and it is just is not working right.

Gina I have a service with Verizon that scans my computer. They told me that using Malware Bytes can also harm the computer. My computer was running slow and they had to use more than Malware bytes and they told me not to download it .

Maybe there was an issue with it at the time or they wanted you to use something from them. As long as you have a good malware program, that is what matters. I have no trouble with Malwarebytes on mine.

Very good information Gina. it reminds us of forgotten things. Thanks for sharing.

I am using paid version of AVG. Is there any problem in installing more than one anti virus like Norton, AVG and Malwarebytes. What are the pros and cons. Can anyone elaborate?

I have Norton Security Suite and AVG and they do not catch what Malwarebytes does. It is separate from those and I have had no trouble.

I also use malwarebytes plus Norton and AVG. I sure hope my computer is safe by using all three but you never know what might creep through. Thanks again for sharing great information.

I use the paid version of Malwarebytes and if I go to a bad website then I get a message saying that Malwarebytes has saved me. The paid version includes real time monitoring and checking for database updates. Yay! ~Marion

I love AVG, but I found a program recently that fixed lot of things anti-malware software doesn't help. I think they have a free trial. It basically gets rid of things the others are note designed to fix. Called Error Expert. http://www.errorexpert.com/

I am going to check this out!

Excellent advice. I am in constant research mode and I decided to get the paid version. It's super cheap and to me worth every penny.

Have on my network. It's been pretty much a standard for me and I believe everyone should have it. Good that you posted this.

This is a great product I tried the free then upgraded to root out rookits, it works great.
