1) First of all, is it possible for the website name to be different than the domain name?
2) If so, how do I change the name of a website?

I would like to enhance the menus by making the buttons look more like buttons, maybe colorizing them so they don't just look like letters in the air.
How is this done?<
There are plugins for that. I used one called Menu Icons. That said, it may just be your theme which needs changing.

You can't use the exact code because it gets executed here. Put a couple of spaces in the HTML code so we can see exactly what code you're using. It should be something like this: < a href: mailto: kima@ topratedtoysandgames .com < /a >(remove the spaces).
let me try again:
< a href="mailto:kima@topratedtoysandgames.com">Contact us via email here!< /a >
OK I pasted the code into the Text tab (not the Visual tab) and removed the spaces. Then I published the post.
Then I clicked on the link and Thunderbird opened up.
aha! I think that is exactly my problem. I will try putting the code into text. Thanks greatly!
I go to the page I want to put it in, click on the text tab and add:
Contact us via email here!
At first I thought it was because I have a '>" that is not matched by a "
key! Where did my first part of the HTML go?
Let me try it again here:
Contact us via email here!
I know what's going on- this darn thing is executing the HTML and all it's giving me is "Contact us via email here!"
Let me enclose everything in square brackets [] and see if it ignores the execution.
[Contact us vie email here!
Can you type the whole html code exactly as you have it? It should look like this:
contact us vis email
I see what's happening. On the WA comments section, you can't put in html code I guess to stop spammers. I'll inbox you and show you how the link should look.
I'm not sure, perhaps you should take out the space. I just clicked on the link and my email client (Thunderbird) opened and your email address was there in the To: field. A blank page opens up in the browser but I think that's normal.

The WordPress visual editor has two modes. One is the Visual mode. The other is the Text mode.
To add html code, you must first switch the editor from the default Visual mode over to the Text mode. Look at the top right side of the editor buttons and you will see a "Visual" tab and "Text" tab.
