How To Create A Facebook Fan Page
By reading at WA the comments, I came to the conclusion that a lot of members don’t know all the advantages and opportunities Facebook can offer to Internet Marketers. Most of the WA members are using their personal Facebook page to promote their website and the content. In my personal opinion this is not a good thing to do, because the interests of your “friends” are often different with the necessities of your marketing goals. Your actual or future customers and friends should not be mixed together. That’s why I recommend creating a fan page for your Internet business. This will give you more possibilities and some interesting tools to promote your business. In a future post of my website, I will explain some of these possibilities and tools. Today I just want to show you how to create your own Facebook fan page. To start you should have a Facebook account.
1 Step - Create Fan Page:
For this you simply click on the following link: www.facebook.com/pages/create.php. There appear six selection images. Here you should choose the brand and product category. After a sub-category can be selected. Of course, this setting can be changed later or adapted.
Now you have to create a name for the fan page. Don’t use things like “How to make money online” because Facebook don’t like that. This name can be changed until you have up to 100 fans, not after that. Then you have to approve the Facebook guidelines and click on Go.
2 Step - Upload a photo:
In the next step you can upload an image or import from a website. Please make sure that you are not violating, by the selected image, third-party copyrights. If you do not have a photo ready, you can skip this and take care of that.
3 Step - Insert infomation:
Now you can write a short description about your fan page. Additionally you can enter the URL of your website
4 Step - Facebook Internet address:
Facebook fan pages provide so-called "Vanity URL's ". This is a personalised URL of your fanpage. Unfortunately, due to the success, a lot of entries are no longer available. IMPORTANT: The address used can NOT be changed later anymore.
5 Step - Customize Fan Page
Now you are almost arrived. The fan page is now created and can be adapted to your needs. Facebook shows each function with an explanation. By clicking "continue" you will get to the next step until your Facebook fan page is finished. In the upper section you can find then the admin area. You can hide this section by clicking and you see your fan page as your fans do.
6 Step - Link to your website
If you want to link your Facebook fan page to your website, you have to install a plugin like Facebook Like Box Widget on your website, that enables Facebook Page owners to attract and gain Likes & Recommendation Comments from their own website. The Like Box enables users to: see how many users already like this page, and which of their friends like it too, read recent posts from the page and Like the page with one click, without needing to visit the page.

Which on of the six categories would you chose? Cause or Community or Company, organization, institution.
i would prefer to choose community, because once there is somebody with you, the community itself you can turn it to an organization or a company and do something for a cause maybe..
You should use your website name or something in relation to that. But don't use something in relation with money or earn money. Facebook won't accept this. But first of all you must have a normal facebook account.
