If I am getting registrations to my site that I suspect are "bots", how do I handle that? Is there any danger to responding to these bots? Is there a way to avoid bots?

I've been trying to figure this out for several hours. Anyone out there who could help me???
Hi Ginger,
I put the short code that Really Simple CAPTCHA plugin states for us to use, directly above the Submit button on my Contact Form 7 form. See screen print below...
Okay. It almost worked. I typed the exact code in the exact place and this is what I got. Any help appreciated. Thank you tons!
Hey Ginger,
About 1 minute into the following video tutorial: https://youtu.be/6QO6z7QQ4aM shows you EXACTLY how to insert the code.
Hey Trish. Thank you so very much. I finally managed to get it up & running correctly. I truly appreciate your help & if ever I can help you along the way, don't hesitate-not that I actually know anything.
Anyway, much success to you and the WA community!
Hi Mike.I followed the steps from TriBlu and I see I'm getting closer. Check out the screenshot of what happened
Btw, I've been on that page. I can make neither heads nor tails of it. I'm pretty slow when it comes to tech, Mike. Sometimes I think I'm not smart enough to do this stuff, ya know?
I agree but I wouldn't know how to do it on there either. Plus I've been unsure which it is. I have it on another site tho.
By the way, I did hunt for the WP Forms Lite that I have on the other site but was unable to identify exactly which one it was when the list came up. So I went with Contact Form 7, since it was easy to find.
Incidentally, is there a way to integrate (supposedly) "Really Simple Captcha" with it? I've gotten a bit of spam contacts on my other site.

My theme supports only 1 menu. I have 3 pages. One is "About Me", two is "Privacy Policy". The 3rd is where I'd like to locate my posts and the categories therein. Is this poss
Here's a link which will help with your menu. You need to assign your posts to categories and publish them before you can add them to the menu. Drop Down Drag and Drop Menu With Custom Links and Non-Clickable Headings
You can use a sub menu by using a widget in your
sidebar and add any other pages you want in there.
As far as post I like to limit the number of posts shown
to between 3 - 5 per page.
I hope that helps.
Hi Ken. I thought I'd be able to figure out how to do that. I wasn't. Is there a walk thru and/or training for how to get this option to display? I put it under "recent posts" widget, but neither of my 2 posts are published. Is that a part of the problem?

At the top of the page they sometimes duplicate. They also appear in weird placements. Not enough are in the sidebars, nor do they extend to bottom.
If you've added the code to header.php then it will get overwritten next time your theme is updated. Paste the code into the Text tab of a Text widget.

Why do my adsense ads look so odd?

I don't see any change after pasting the code into the header part of the editor for my site. Are there any trainings specific to this???
You might find it easier to manage the placement with a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/ there is documentation on using it over at https://adinserter.pro/
It's worth bearing in mind that pasting codes into header.php will need to be redone after each theme update. You can paste the code into the Ad Inserter plugin instead or a plugin such as Header & Footer https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer/ which won't be affected by theme updates.
I will try this since I am VERY confused. I haven't done any theme updates though. I am not tech savvy at all. Until then I'm going to continue step by step on the site I'm working on in siterubix at WA. The other is a blog I started half cocked without any idea of what was going on. Before I got to WA.

Great to see Kyle's advice cutting these off at the nubs Ginger!
Absolutely. I wish I'd asked a lot sooner!
