Hi Guys and Girls... Just going through the training and learning about "The Niche".
I have a question regarding affiliate links... for example I am in the UK and if I was to sign up to become an Amazon Affiliate for example, if someone from the USA, Canada, Australia etc click on the link does it take them to Amazon UK or Amazon in there own country?
I ask because in some cases I have clicked a link and been taken to the USA site however I can't buy from there so I have to check the product description and then see if it is available on the UK site.
As this is a worldwide business model I would hope some of my potential customers would come from outside the UK... Thanks in advance for any help. Regards Gaz

Ey up mi duck! (I'm in Mansfield, but originally from Chesterfield).

What you actually have to do, is to sign up to as many Amazon programmes as you wish, America, Canada, France etc. You then make use of Amazon's own tool called OneLink. This ensures that potential customers are taken to their correct country.

Don't be tempted to sign up to Amazon too soon. You have to make 3 sales within 180 days or you get removed from their program. This is not easy until you start getting some traffic to your website.

Ey up... ee ba gum that wer quick..... thanks for the response and advice... just researching a niche at the minute but it was a question that popped into my head from an experience I had. Completely new to this concept but the more I learn and research the more optimistic I am becoming. I am so glad to hear from a few folk from the UK as most of the online businesses I have looked at are aimed at the US market and sometimes the marketing methods don't work in the UK.

Yeah Amazon have a feature through which you can set it so that it redirects the visitor to the relevant site (and you get the commission all the same) :)

Hi Dale.. appreciate you getting back to me so quickly... Just read your bio and I am glad you were able to prove yourself wrong and have been able to sack your boss and work for yourself full time... I think it is a dream most people have and I am encouraged to hear from someone who has actually done it.
Cheers
