Hey everyone!

So I just finished writing another article today and when I went to go look at my homepage the article didn't show up on the homepage with the others. Sometimes I find that when I go to my page, the last article doesn't show until I refresh the page. So I refreshed it but it's not coming up. I let a half-hour pass and did it again but it's not there.

On the back end of WordPress, it says it's published and I've edited it. It has a category. Not sure what's going wrong. Any ideas? I must have refreshed the page 20 times lol.

Update:

I got it!! I had created a new category for my latest article but I didn't put it under the main blog category like the rest so it wasn't showing up with the others.

One of these days I'll figure out how to better organize the menu and categories.

Well, I'm glad I emptied my cache anyway! Thanks, everyone:)

try pressing ctrl+f5
this refreshes your browsers cache...
they do a prettty good job at showing you pages that you have already visited fast as they store them.
but when you change your site then you want to see the changes and this is when it causes problems
by pressing ctrl+f5 you refresh hte browsers cache on that page...
good luck

Hi, try empty cache refresh try again, try URL in a different browser or mobile device.

You can also click details on the domain in question in site manager and clear servers cache.

It is also worth noting

If you edited a document in site content and published it, future edits has to be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.

I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library.

Thanks, I cleared my cache and refreshed and it still isn't showing up. I checked on my phone and it doesn't show up there either. I cleared the server cache in Site Manager and that didn't work lol.

It's a mystery!

Have you tried clearing the server-side cache via Site Manager? It sounds like a caching issue to me. Just go Site Manager, then "Details" and click the Clear Cache button - should be fine after that :)

Thanks, Dale. I've taken everyone's advice and it still isn't showing up. It's gotta be something I'm doing wrong.
