I paid for an annual subscription in 2019, at the time of renewal I got an email offering a further discounted price and was told I would be refunded the original renewal if I took the deal, so I signed up... but the refund has never happened, so now I have paid twice for this year and there is no information on the site about who to contact with payment queries...

I believe that Jaz333 has got you, but when you take a deal, the extra time is added onto the end of your subscription, you should check on your subscription end date, and if you can't find what you are looking for PM Kyle or Carson!

Hi Anna .. I am thinking that you did get the discount even though you may not have realized it at the time. When you upgrade to yearly from the monthly membership, you will be prorated for the time remaining on your current membership and this is worked into the price you pay as you upgrade.

You can check this on your payment invoice which is located within your account settings. Click on your profile photo in the upper left, then account settings. Scroll down to see a list of all the invoices for previous payments. Simply choose the invoice you wish to take a look at and click 'view invoice'.

You can take a look at the attached screenshot. This is showing the price I would pay if I were to go ahead and pay for the next year's membership fee right now. The credit for the remaining time left on my current membership is highlighted and circled for easy reference.

Many thanks for the detailed explanation but this not the case. I upgraded from monthly to yearly last year and yes, it worked exactly this way. However this year I have two annual subscriptions in my invoices... adding up to almost $700.
