Hi friends,

I know that Amazon requires an affiliate disclosure using their own wording but I can't find it on amazon.com

I used to have it on one of my websites but Amazon cut me off because I didn't have any sales within their specified time frame. Now I'm trying to promote Amazon again and I don't have the correct wording for their affiliate disclosure/disclaimer any more.

Do you have the exact wording I have to use or can you give me a link to the Amazon page where I can copy and paste it into my website.

Thank you,

Marion

Marion, I buy stuff from Amazon affiliates to keep this from happening. Let me know and I will buy from you as often as you need me to.

Hi Marion,

Is this the one you're looking for? I don't even remember where I found it at the time...

(website) is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

I just have a normal affiliate disclosure on my site. I didn't know I needed to have one from amazon too. I am an affiliate though

I have just put a disclaimer on one of my websites. I will have to get to all the others--which are WA sites. This information has been of immense value. It never even crossed my mind to include a disclaimer--and I love the idea of us buying from each other!!

That should be the link and the affiliate disclosure part is under #10. I recently started using Amazon and that's what I used.

I'm not sure I like the bit which states: "you will be solely responsible for: the technical operation of your site and all related equipment;" What does that mean? I don't really look after the technical operation of my site. (I have a hosting company that does that.). Or am I missing something

I think they are just saying that you do not hold Amazon responsible for the workings of your site. So you cant ask them to fix things or expect them to build your site and add the links, etc. I hope i have that correct.

That's the one Jon.

That makes sense ... I couldn't imagine that there are many (if any) of the thousands of affiliates who host their own website on their own servers.
