Most people are constantly thinking about their "why". If you have not heard about this concept before, it is the process of understanding truly what motivates and drives you to succeed in life.

Is it the idea of having freedom to do what you want, when you want? More time for family or providing your family and children with a life you never got to experience growing up? Is it material things like a car, a big mansion? Is it the ability to travel? Is it better health? etc

There are many different reasons WHY you would want to succeed, but alone this is not enough. In order to accomplish your why, it is very important that you spend some time documenting HOW you are going to accomplish this.

It is great to dream, but without an actionable plan, a dream is just that. Let's get a discussion rolling here, put your why, and indicate your how you plan on achieving this.

I will get things started here. In terms of my "why", this is more complicated and since I have been in the business world for 16 years, and there was a period before I had made my first penny online, the why has very much been an evolving idea.

When I started out at the ripe age of 22, my WHY was achieving success. I had always proclaimed that one day I was going to achieve something of substance, I was always a high achiever (or so I thought lol), and I wanted to make something of myself.

I was full time in college, didn't have much money, and was living at home still. My why was to make money so I could buy stuff, to be able to afford some of the material things that I wanted, and to be able to have enough money to enjoy life.

It was pretty shallow in hindsight, but that was where I was at and I don't think there is anything wrong with having these sorts of goals.

As I established success within the affiliate marketing world, my whys shifted. I wanted to purchase a house, I wanted the freedom not to have to go to an office, and I wanted the freedom to be able to travel.

I remember back in 2008 I went on a trip to Australia and I was able to work from the Gold Coast for an entire month. Although the Internet was slow as heck, this was incredible to me. I completely relocated and I was able to continue to work within WA and continue to grow my business.

Or sitting at a coffee shop in Milan, having an espresso and running a business. That to me, was incredible and that was a definite WHY for me at the time and still is. Being able to experience that and have that spatial freedom is an incredible feeling.

Now, moving forward 10 more years, my why is very much to do with family and my two daughters. Being a provider and assuming that role when you having a wife/kids is a big motivator, but that alone is not my driving factor.

Helping people achieve success still plays a HUGE role in my "why" and it is something that I truly look forward to doing every day, regardless of where I am at in the world. The money and the material stuff is a byproduct of this and surely has taken a back seat in my why.

So moving forward my WHY is my family, but also helping the most people succeed and achieve their why through WA. The how is going to be continuing to think outside of the box and innovate and evolve the platform here, and working relentlessly to achieve this.

If you work harder and smarter than others in your niche/industry, and you have people as your best intentions, the results will follow. That has always been my logic, and to this point is has been an effective approach, so I am sticking with it. ;)

Two things that you wrote stuck with me like glue. Your "Why" as far as family goes is exactly the same as mine. Being a "little" older than you, my family has now matured, but it's still my no. 1 priority to provide for them.

Also, the FREEDOM. That is my biggest WHY. I want to quit the rat race before the age of retirement and be able to enjoy my life the way I want. To be able to do what I'm passionate about, which is to live the "laptop life".

I have always been a "computer geek" and been on the Internet since 1992. Back then, I was impressed with FTP, Gopher, and telnet. It wasn't until a couple of years later that "Netscape" came out. And I was impressed back then that the Internet had millions of users, let alone BILLIONS like today.

Fast forward to 2018 and I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. My HOW is also to help people. By helping others, you also help yourself. My motto is now "Instead upon focusing upon money, focus upon serving a purpose that will benefit others and success will follow".

I can say that you are a great example of this too. There are tons of examples of members that have achieved success here at WA by helping others also. So it's not a magical formula, it's the law of the universe at its best!

I wish you and all of the other members here at WA real success through helping others in 2018 and beyond. We are a great like-minded community here and we already help each other like crazy. Let's expand it to all that want to hear our message!

Cheers!
Denis

That's exactly why I want to do this is to leave a legacy for my children! The money is just a tool, I want The last half of my life spend as much time with my family as I can! I want to get to a point where I'm debt-free and to be able to have a place for them to come to see me and spend time that got taken away for me,that's my ultimate goal! It's always been about family anyway!

My why is my grandbabies. I see them growing older and know they are going to need help as they grow into adults. I have one that is 15 now and I know when she goes off to college which she plans to, she is going to need some money to survive.

My why is wanting to be that grandma that is there for her and for the others as they grow older. For their parents, to help them get by in this messy world we live in.

I live on disability and let me tell you it is not fun. I scrape by to get my wealthy affiliate and Jaaxy paid, BUT I do it because I know deep down that this system works. It works and its going to work for me.

I feel that things are going to change around for me so fast, I wont even know its happened. I place my faith in God to lead me to where I need to go.

IKR? They have a failing state, but they can still get their act together enough to set up fibre optic. Meanwhile, I’m on a 90s connection, carrying 2020 demands.

In a parallel comedic universe, we could outsource the job to some warlords for a few weeks and see what happens.

The Internet is still slow today in Australia. LOL
We now have NBN which is an acronym for National Broadband Network. It drops out every 15-20 minutes and takes about 5 minutes for the modem to reset.
This is why Affiliate Marketing is a little frustrating.
NBN is so slow that while watching one of Kyle, Jay or Bo training videos, it pauses throughout the video with a spinning circle.

However it is not as bad as Trading the Forex. There is nothing worse that being in live trades and not being able to watch price because NBN has dropped out. Price can move very fast so I am thankful for Stop Losses and Take Profits. Without these I could not trade the Forex using NBN.

I guess I'll have to get to Vegas to experience fast Internet. LOL

I am glad that your family is your why, as that is your future. Thank you for sharing. Have a fantastic day. Dave

I think it’s time for a move! LOL! And get into the 21st-century! LOL! Thanks! I appreciate the comment, working hard to get things accomplished as soon as I can so I can get up and running. In the final analysis it’s all about family and friends anyway! But it doesn’t hurt to have a little cash in your pocket either ;))
Good luck to you too! Drop a line anytime, Steve

For me, the reason why I am in business for myself is to have Peace of Mind through financial independence.

I don't want anyone putting their finger on me and deciding what my life should be like.

My goal is to complete the course lessons and tasks. Learn the process and action steps required to produce income. Once I figure that out, I will scale my actions to meet the goals I set for myself.

There are many ways to earn invome with WA. I will focus on one income stream at a time.

Two key concepts to keep in mind.

1. Residual income. Get paid monthly commissioms on every referral.

2. Math. Simply do the math. How much income do 6you want, divide by $23.50 and your answer will be the number of referrals you need. Break it down to its smallest form.

I liked when you said: “don't want anyone putting their finger on me and deciding what my life should be like.” - human agency is a big deal. Great answer.

My why is definitely my family. I want my wife and my daughter to have a good life.

For HOW, it is through WA. I want to build a website that has a good stream of income that my wife can actually retire and raise our daughter.

Currently, I just changed job and can only give a little bit of attention to my websites. I have to accustom myself to the new hectic schedule before I can give more attention to develop my websites.

I know that it seems like I am giving out excuses. No worry, this is the only way out for me so far.

This moment my why is only one, to have an income online to augment what I'm receiving from my work in church ministry. I plan to have this business so if I am in the retirement stage I just want to sit and write and maybe help other people do the affiliate marketing.

I want to set myself as an example that there is real money on the internet and this can help those people who are undergraduate, unemployed and are unprivileged.

Like Kyle, soon, your WHY will soon get upgraded. From personal, you will soon find yourself working with a WHY that is beyond personal. Like for example, influencing others become online entrepreneurs! :)

I found my why a couple of years ago sitting in church. I feel that the reason why I have stuck around despite the trials and struggles was because one day I want to start a non-profit charity that teaches the homeless and less fortunate how to make money online (I know it sounds crazy to most people) so that they to can never have to live a life of wondering when they are going to eat, where they are going to live. I want to teach them to never rely on an employer for a paycheck ever again and show them a way to self reliance.
