Given the number of members here at WA, I'm sure different things will be important to different people. However, I'm interested to know what some of you think is the most important thing to think about when starting out here at WA?
For example:
Is it defining your reasons for wanting to be here?
Is it setting goals and objectives for what you want to achieve?
Is it sticking to the training as outlined step-by-step?
Is it setting up your profile?

For me, it was certainly cementing the reasons why I wanted to be taking part.
- I want to be working from home
- I want to improve my online marketing knowledge
- I want to make money (I have and always will be ambitious!)
I've found that Wealthy Affiliate has already given me the first two, and I'm well on the way to number three.

What has been most important for you when starting out?

I am brand new here... But, I've started a dozen businesses. The key is always in the understanding of what you're doing... So I would say training. Good luck!

Thanks Felix - I also agree training is important. I've found the modules really helpful and I like the structured way of working through the lessons with a checklist to tick off as you go - it definitely makes sure you have the understanding nailed from that particular lesson.

Definitely - without the commitment, there is unlikely to be much reward

I would say the most important part is connecting with the one person ( or few people) that will help keep you motivated and answer your questions in a helpful way for you. We are all individuals seeking similar outcomes, but we recieve information differently just as the guests to our sites will. That is why so many people can be prosperous doing similar things on the Internet. Good luck!!
