Hello, I'd like to ask about a feature in SiteComments, which says: "Gain 24 Hours of Exposure: Offer 10 comments in 24 hours and boost your requested comments for a full day!"
What does it exactly mean? That I can get more comments than my credit allows?
Otherwise, I'm not sure what's so special about my requests being visible for a full day; I've assumed that once I request comments, that they will be in a queue for as long as needed until they get answered, no?
Many thanks for your clarification! :)
Lucie

Hey Lucie,

Don't forget to search help by using that term to see if others have asked that question and received answers... or if training or blogged tips have been published on this topic.

Hope you find this helpful.

Oh, that's really helpful, Triiblu, thanks a lot! Good feature indeed - one can learn a lot from there. In fact, I'd like to ask you, where exactly do you find all those questions, apart from that search window? I.e. when I posted my question about the 24-hour boost, where did it appear? In the Live Chat section..? Thanks again :)

Thank you :) But I was wondering where do you notice questions like this, in general - e.g. if I wanted to help someone, for example. i.e. is there a specific section for questions? Thanks again!

Not that I am aware of Lucie.

Most times, doing a simple search reveals what I'm looking for. If not, then I change my search words and then VOILA!

Certainly, phrase as question and answer has multiple aspects. Straightforward use is as sentence say - but of course, if you want such exposure. Paraphs, many people would not like this kind of phrasing.

Hi .. The comment boost just means that your request for comments gets pushed to the front of the line if you leave 10 comments within a 24 hour period.

Typically you will get more comments than you asked for though, even without the boost, just because of how the system is set up. Many times many people will be offering comments at the same time so you'll get several comments before the system counts your request as completed.

Hope that helps clarify it some for you!

Thanks a lot, Shannon! It's much clearer to me, and I'm a bit relieved that I don't have to do 10 comments a day, as it can get quite time-consuming. I prefer to give more time to my article writing. Thanks again!
