Stick to training here at WA and give it a miss. You might save money this way.

For what it's worth, I just did a post where I included my personal experience with TM, on my website at www.onlinewithbryan.com if you want to look.
I think people should be careful about the language they use here. I think most of the people using the word scam to describe TM as on other forums on the net, are people with no personal experience of the program. I would never accuse any program of being a scam, despite what anyone tells me, unless I had personally been scammed.
I was earning money with TM until Paypal "stole" it, but I am not accusing Paypal of being scammers. They took a business decision, and in theory, are returning my money in August. Traffic Monsoon continues to grow, and I know a number of people making very high earnings, even now. If my funds are returned to me by Paypal, and I can continue with TM, I will do, using another payment method obviously.
Yes, there is a risk with Rev Share companies, as with many things. A guy who is an online mentor of mine says with Rev Shares, you should invest and build for 3-6 mths, then start to withdraw your initial investment. You then have a free ride building from there. Some will succeed some won't, you can only do research before investing. If I ever get anywhere near what he has earned online I will be a happy man. He is recommending 2 more Rev share companies now, that I will be investing in too, as he has personally met the owners of both of them. I am not going to spam them on here, but if anyone pm me I am happy to tell you what they are.
You can't just say they are all scams. That's like saying all politicians are corrupt. mind you.....lol

I thought I had heard of all of them. I got a video recently and if their method is legal and ethical I'll be really surprised. I have been deluged since I started looking for a program. Needless to say, I'm happy with this one.

One day I was looking for a online business and I came accross traffic monsoon. I tried to get in. I sent in a ticket saying "I can't get in". I tried to call, I emailed them and they still did not answer my questions. I saw Wealthy Affiliate compare to traffic monsoon. I decide to choose Wealthy Affiliate over traffic monsoon. They did not work with me. Wealthy Affiliate is better.

I had the same issue with them. I created an account so I could review their program. But then one day I tried to log in and couldn't remember my password. I tried to contact them about it and they never got back to me. I wanted to create a new account but I couldn't because they wouldn't accept my email nor my IP address.
I sent numerous tickets to them, never got an answer.
That was it lol.

When I tried to get in I tried to give them my money, but they would not let me in. So I did not give them my money. If it wasn't for traffic monsoon, I would not have heard of Wealthy Affiliate.

traffic is low quality, it's a ponzi, all of Charles' previous sites have crashed out owing money. What's different about monsoon?
Reply
BelieveItYes Premium
I don't think it's any different... it's just the same thing under a different name I guess.
Ponzi schemes, revshares and alike will last for a while until they collapse and their creators build a new one under a different name...
If you join early enough you'll see a ROI.. if you join a bit too late, your money will most probably be gone and given to older members.

Hey Jimbo, oh hot topic :-)
I came here to Wealthy Affiliate through Traffic Monsoon. I had no idea of WA and I am so glad that I came across it.
So far for me Traffic Monsoon has been a good experience even though there was an issue with Paypal which hopefully will be resolved in August.
I have read all the reviews of being a scam or not, so I guess its all up to your judgement if to join or not.
My sponsor is making over 10,000 a day and she is one of the top earners in TM.
I hope you make a right decision for you.
The latest is that TM is still here and we are in process of ordering our own Debit Cards from Allied Wallet and Payza for direct withdrawls in the future.
Wishing you the best my friend :-)

TrafficMonSoon is a revshare and it's bound to collapse. A friend of mine tried to convince me to join the program a while ago but I was too cautious and didn't dare. He was like "it's so great, I make 200 a day..." but I haven't heard from it since and when I asked him "how is it going with TrafficMonsoon?" he said he'd left the program... Why would you leave a program that enables you to earn 200 a day? Because eventually they stop paying people, when there aren't enough new members who sign in and pay for the people who are at the top.
Most scams online are similar to TrafficMonSoon..; so called MLMs or traffic exchange websites or "advertising platform" ... when in fact they're just ponzi schemes, revshares that can't sustain themselves in the long run
Cheers
Sarah

I think SmashFund is going to have the same fate.

if it's a revshare it probably will... revshares can generate money if you join them at their early stage.. but I personally wouldn't recommend them because they're not promoting any good product, they're not really helping people and they money you're making comes from the investment of new members...
I've never heard of SmashFund. Is it recent?

I believe so too. and i also hold the belief that just because lots of people are actually making money on it, doesn't mean it's legit. Bernie Madoff springs to mind. He's in a different league to charles scoville, tho. I reckon Scoville doesn't want to be a scammer, I think he just wants an online business that actually works, for once. But why does he choose the MLM, ponzi type stuff all the time.

I wrote a review.

http://beststayhomejobs.com/how-about-traffic-monsoon/

did I miss anything out, or tell any lies? I don't want to get into trouble for it. if it turns out not to be a scam I don't want legal problems...

That looks like a very thorough review, Jimothy. I haven't got time to read through it, but on first glance, it looks good. If it was me, I would add an affiliate link. I know you are giving it a low rating, but never leave money on the table. I sometimes earn commissions from products I give a bad rating to. Sometimes people are still persuaded by the sales page despite how badly you rate it in your review.

Personally, I never include affiliate links for scammy/bad products/online opportunities because for starters it looks bad on me and secondly, I want readers to trust me. So I send them to WA instead ;)

I'd rather leave money on the table when it comes to scams OR make money from a better opportunity.

I doubt most people examine the URL. I think most people just click it or not. People like clickable links. If you make the link not clickable so that they have to copy and paste it into their address bar, you're just making more difficult, especially for people on tablets or phones (which are now the majority). So if you're going to make it a clickable link, you might as well just put in an affiliate link because most people won't notice anyway.

If you're not going to put your affiliate links in, can you put mine in instead? ;-)

Traffic Monsoon is a Ponzi and so is MAPS. The site is full of scammy ads too. If you're paying to get traffic, it's not targeted and a waste of time. If you're buying ad packs, you're not buying anything of value. If you're recruiting new members, you're scamming them.

Traffic Exchanges do not work or convert. This comes from experience.

TIP: Invest your money into PPC ads on Google and Bing that get results. :)

@Jim-Bo I was seriously asking about the general feeling about revshares. I did not mean to imply that you were against TM. My apologies.

Hello James,

Technically, traffic monshoon works - Yes, you get the traffic

BUT..

it's all artificial traffic.
In other words, this is not targeted traffic.
What's the point of having 100 000 visitors if they won't ever convert?
They won't read your content.. they won't buy your stuff..

That's the catch with traffic monshoon.
I could be totally wrong, but that's the deal in my opinion..

Regards,
Henry

I'm not against any of these Rev-Shares/TE sites, but why bother with these sites when Kyle teaches you a better way to get traffic to your website?

Here we learn about Targeted Audience, Creating Content for Organic Traffic, Finding Relevant Keywords and Creating Ad Campaigns for PPC etc...

Why gamble your time and money away on these other sites?

Traffic Monsoon has been around for a while, in fact, it is the longest and most trustworthy among all revshare programs. Highly recommended.

I'm a member of Traffic Monsoon and a bunch of others. There's a lot of them. But Traffic Monsoon, It's not even two years old yet.

I've been doing rev-shares for almost 10 years and they've all gone bad. It's high risk. I've made a bunch of money and I lost a bunch money on them. I've lost more money than I made by far. It's the same as gambling.

I decided not to do rev-shares no matter how tempting it is. Every night at midnight, I had to get out of bed and click on 10 ads and I had about 4 rev-shares at the time (40 ads a night).

What a waste of time!!! clicking on a bunch of ads just to be clicking on ads. I'm so glad that I don't do them anymore.

I can name a bunch of TE sites that's been around since the late nineties. Long before Traffic Monsoon such as TrafficSwarm, EasyHits4You, ILoveHits, ListJoe (Solo Ads).

At least with Traffic Swarm, you'll learn how to create ads that work, through trial and error and List Joe will teach you how to create solo ads. So It's not a total waste with these sites but If you're going to be using these types of sites, you might as well pay for the services.

If you continue the training here at WA, you're going to learn how to get traffic with PPC for pennies a click. Not by chance either, You'll learn how to laser target your audience for a lot less than buying solo ads.

Okay, now you know why I don't do Solo ads. Why should I when I can get clicks for about $.10 a click. So stay with the training. You'll be glad you did.
