Hi Kyle,

I see my domain name only in the first page of google with products from Walmart and Lovevery. I don't have any Affiliate associate account with them. I am wondering why it is there. I am worried about it because it looks weird and not normal to me. There might have been some reasons behind it which probably I don't know and am trying to find out why.

Thank you very much for your help and I appreciate that.

Hi - are you searching for one of your keywords when you see it on page 1 of Google?

Hi Diane,

No it is my real exact domain name which I own with an https://.... I took a print screen of it and yes it is spelled exactly the same as my domain name.

Do you want to send me the screenshot, so I can look into it further?

I tried to do so here but it didn't work. It appeared as an attachment at first and then it disappeared by itself. 😊

When I tried sending it to Kyle through a PM, it worked I think because under sent items I can see the attachment is still there.

Try sending me a PM with the screenshot, as I am not sure what you are seeing.

Hi - yes, received, but for some reason, it won't let me send you a PM in reply.

You have clicked the "shopping" tab in Google, so it thinks you want to buy educational baby toys. It is showing you the shopping sites that have paid Google to show them first in the results whenever someone searches educational baby toys.

Yeah, thank you Diane it is so weird. It wouldn't let me send one either.

I don't understand the part that the shopping sides have took my domain name to show all those ads? do they have the right to do so? That domain name belongs to me.

Sorry if I am too complicated, all i am doing is trying to understand as I have a few knowledge of online things...

They haven't taken your name.

Typically, when you click the "shopping" tab in Google, it is to search for products, not a specific website. Because you have searched using your website name and your site has the words "educational baby toys" in it, Google thinks you are searching for products to buy.

Businesses and companies can pay Google to promote their site first when customers are searching for certain words.

Here's an example. If you search indoorplants.co.uk, but then click the "shopping" tab, Google thinks you want to buy indoor plants, and simply shows you adverts from websites that sell indoor plants.

I sent you another 2nd print screen. In my case it doesn't even ask for example "Did you mean..........'' It shows directly under the domain name with all the https:// with all the dashes and the exact spelling.

Please try it yourself and let's see how you see it. To me it looks like the ad is intended to be under this domain.

This is very unfortunate for me because people (my customers) looking for my website exact address (the exact same domain name) find things under my domain. They buy it thinking that that is my website but it turns out that I receive no commission for it as I am not their associate.

But in reality my customers are typing my website address in google. You know what I mean?

I hope you are getting my point here and I hope I don't sound nuts to you.

I am wondering what to do to resolve this unpleasing situation.

I am trying to seek for some help here and I wish I could get a solution for this.

I got your PM message along with all your explanations which made me realise to check it from different phones and different browsers, it seems okay and everything you explained me makes good sense.

Thank you very much for all your help Diane! I really appreciate you! 💕

Sorry, as a newbie, sometimes it is hard to get things but as long as we get things clarified, that's what it is important.

It is not a shame not to know but not to know and remain calm is. 😊
