I was a member a couple years ago but couldn’t afford to stay at the time. Now that I’m back, I want to rebuild the website I started back then that was deleted. I do have copies of all the articles that I wrote, but I’m concerned that Google will penalize me for duplicate material. Is that something I need to be concerned about?

Hi, site support back ups only are available for 60 days from time subscription expired.

Have you backed up your site them?

In future you may do so using the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins, UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

How long has it been deleted? From my experience I believe the best is to do it over. I have found when you try to revamp you tend to lose some important and relevant info if you didn't back it up or save them.

hope this helps and not too much trouble.

I really don't think so, Mandi. Since you didn't copied from anyone. If you are thinking so because you posted them before, you do not have to worry. If you delete your own posts for a while and post them again, google doesn't penalise for that. Maybe, the ranking would not be as it was before, but they can be indexed. In any case, it is your material and I believe none has the same material as you do. Go ahead and post without fears. If that gives you so much concern, then you can rephrase some lines and have it posted. It is always better to have them online than in your computer. Happy new year.

I'm guessing you didn't make a backup? How long was your website down for? Are you using the same domain name?
