Please have a look to see what I mean:

Sometimes, I have tried resizing the images but they still look uneven in the blogroll.

Thank you.

Hi Sue,
I have found a great way to resize all of my photos, using http://www.picresize.com/ it's a free online picture resizer. It is very easy to use, upload your photo follow the prompts and choose the size you want then save, it's that simple.

I use it often as some pictures I have are just too large and having a similar issue to you I wanted consistency in my picture sizes and picresize has given me that option.

From my experience you need to make sure they are the right size before you up load your images.

Hi Sue,

I am not sure how to make all the image sizes consistent other than making sure when you save your image that they are the same size before uploading them into WordPress. I usually use Photoshop to make sure I can change the sizes of my images. I am not sure if this help you, but I hope so.
I looked at your site, it is awesome. I wanted to know how you were able to set up the pages that have read more within them. Is that a plugin that you use to set that up?

William if you mean the "read more" buttons you can do a text version of that in most themes. If you want an actual button that may require some coding, a specific theme, or a plugin.

In the URL above the site has on certain pages a few brief descriptions of other pages when you click on the read more you will go on to that page. Those descriptions are very well organized and have dates of when they were published, along with other hyperlinks within the descriptions. I was wondering if this was a plugin because of how organized it is?
I was thinking of putting an image and then on the right have a brief description of that page. Within that description I can use the read more button, I think, because I saw it there but did not use it yet.
Would you know of any plugins for this type of set up?

I figured out how she has the "read more" buttons. It is a function of her theme, which I uploaded to a test site.

As you can see my buttons look the same.

The dates are also automatically done by the theme.

At the top the drop-down menus are giving you categories. When you click on the category it shows you every post written for that category.

She has a nice theme. It seems to be one of the better free themes I have seen on this site.

Hi Adrian, nice to meet you.
You're a good investigator!
In answer to William, yes it's my theme that does it automatically and thanks for your compliments!

Thank you Adrian, you are good at figuring things out that's for sure and thank you Sue. I have a site that I am just starting that I want to implement that into certain pages. I just don't want to get rid of the theme I have. Thank you, I really appreciate it.

If you are referring to the feature image you can edit it after selecting the image but before saving. Just after selecting your image you should see an edit feature on the right of your screen. I always set mine to 150 and the stay consistent.

Are you using the featured image function to make the images appear in the blog roll?

Yes, I am.

ok, in that case edit the image size before saving it as others have mentioned and they should be consistent.
