SiteComments is funded by both Community Credits and Cash Credits.

If a member requests a comment and uses their Community Credits to pay for it, then you will receive 1 Community Credit upon Approval of the comment you make on their website.

If a member requests a comment and uses their Cash Credits to pay for it, then you will receive 1 Cash Credit upon Approval of the comment you make on their website, if you are a Certified Commenter.

1 Cash Credit is with $0.50

Cash Credits is not a guaranteed income source and there are more comments requested using Community Credits than there are using Cash Credits.

Hi - if you are a certified commenter, then you should receive $0.50 for every alternative comment. However, this isn't always the case, as it depends on the economics of the platform. If people aren't paying for comments, then commenters don't get paid. Payment is made by PayPal on the 1st of the month.

Yes I have noticed that and wondered why sometimes there is no payment. Good to know!

However it is quite frustrating to pay for comments and only get generic and low quality comments back. Last time I bought comments I had to disapprove a whole bunch. I think when you comment on someone who paid for it then you should really do your best to give a quality comment back.
