My new referral has decided that WA is not for him. Does he need to do anything to cancel his membership, or just stop using the program?

Hi Carol,
I signed up for 5 years before I really started and my account was still here waiting for me. It took me five years of distractions to figure out WA is the best thing around... you can believe for sure now that I'm a big booster!
So let him wander in the wilderness like me and if he has half a brain he'll be back.

... that's so-o funniee-e 'wandering around lost in the wilderness!' ... super writing as i envisioned some lost soul going around in circles ... and the 'half a brain' is so precious a remark! .. lol ....

thanks Gary (maxcash) for giving me the giggles & chuckles! ... 🙃😊 ...

I suppose they send an email to support or to the welcome email address with their request.

Hope this helps?

... hey hi Eruvwu --- just so you know, free starters simply need to log-out from their profile and say 'farewell.' and that's it as they haven't paid anything to get an account going.....

all the best ... :)

Thanks for the response. I was thinking they could just walk away since they haven't paid anything.

Thanks, Keisha. That's what I thought, but didn't want to tell him anything that wasn't right.

Good answers below, Carol! Sorry it didn't work out this time around, my two referrals didn't either, but I wonder if at a later date if they suddenly decide to go premium, do we still get the credit for them? Something to look into, perhaps!

Good question, Jeff. Guess we should ask the community. I hadn't thought of that.

You can't delete an account because it can be reactivated later

OK. Thanks, Catherine. Do you know if they reactivate later if I would still get the credit? Jeff posed that question above, and I think it's a good one.

Hi Carol, there's nothing to do because he hasn't given credit card details so there will never be a payment taken off his account.

If he hasn't done much at WA, he's probably not receiving a lot of emails yet but if he is, he can just unsubscribe from the emails.

Further than that, he can just stop logging into WA. Nothing more is required.
