I'm on level 2 of the training, and I'm at the stage where I am asked to share my most recent post on The "Give and Take" Comment Drop Zone. I tried posting the link to my most recent post, and I keep getting this error:

URL's can not contain parameters (example: domain.com?value=123)

I simply copy and pasted the website address to my post which is: https://willowsgold.com/?p=25

Can someone please help me with this?

Go to the comment thread and give some comments for websites, then you will be able to ask for comments with the credits you earn
I hope this helps

No, I'm not trying to post it where you earn credits. It's this thread here:

DISCUSSION: The "Give and Take" Comment Drop Zone

I'm simply trying to post the link to my most recent post like the training requires, and it will not let me post it as I keep getting the error above.

I responded to your request for a comment on this thread. It worked; look for my comment I wrote in the comment section of your post. The program was simply misleading about the URL problem. You apparently correctly copied your URL adddress to include with your request. I am not a tech, so I can't explain it. But since your posted link took me to your site, you would appear to be doing it correctly.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I don't understand why it won't post in the comment section, as the training says you need comments on your website.

I am not sure what you are confused about, but let me try to explain commenting. You will want to have comments on all of your posts. The basic reason is that comments tell search engines that your posts have trustworthiness as readers are engaging with it. This, in turn, helps build ranking for your posts. What this basically means is that the more comments on your posts, the more reliable search engines will consider your website. WA provides two ways to get comments added to your posts. One is through SiteComment and the other is through this thread. You request others to comment on both methods. SiteComment is totally controlled by WA, which uses it for its own purposes. This is a “pay for” site, so that you can only request a comment on one of your posts if you have the required two credits to pay for the comment. You gain credits by making comments in SiteComments. The comments are added to your post after you approve the comment. On the other hand, requesting comments within this thread is free. You simply provide the post address you want the comment for and post the message inviting anyone to comment. There is no limit on the number of people replying to your request. Although this is both free and voluntary, you are encouraged to return the favor by commenting back if the requester provides an address. I look at my posts to see which ones might need comments and then request a comment for that post. I do this to build up the engagement with my posts for SEO and ranking, not really because I want to know what others think of my posts. I request “feedback” when I want a critical evaluation of my posts or website. That is for me so that I can improve my website. This is a short explanation, but hopefully, it removes some of your confusion.
