When I write a private message, each time I try to fill in the subject line, a whole bunch of previous subjects are offered as well as articles. So many in fact that it blocks me from accessing the Send button. I've tried clicking on the side or reducing the size of the font and screen but it does no good. The only way to solve this is to use a word where it won't generate such a long list so the Send button is now visible.

Is there a trick to this that I'm missing?
