I wrote my about me page and my privacy page and published it. But it didn't publish to my website. So I tried fixing it myself and messed it all up. Is there a way I can start over to republish my about me and privacy policy?? Or would it be easier to restart another website?

Hi, no you wouldn't need start a new site, you can redo them if messed up.

You have templates in site content.

In the training the About me is a post and privacy policy a page.

Did you try clicking the little arrow at the top right corner, then edit over what you wrote and write what you want. Then click Save.

Ok, to start, your Privacy Policy should be a page and your 'about me' should be a post. You can always edit them in WordPress after you've published them.

I published both as a page. Can I switch my about me to a post? Also neither of them came up on my website after I published them.
