Okay.

I'm gonna move my domain to WA.

But i must wait until i have the funds. I'm just wondering if it would be possible to just change nameserver at the moment then move the domain entirely when i have the funds?

I dont have a website here on WA for that domain here on WA yet and only have ONE site left of my allowance. So Im wondering if i build a site on a 'Change Nameserver' set up, can i move the domain later without it affecting my site? Or will i have to them create a duplicate site and move the former when i actually move the domain?

Yes, you can transfer your domain after pointing it to WA. Keep in mind that you will be able to transfer your domain after 60 days of the initial registration. Clearing this up, if you point your domain to WA (name servers are changed) your site will be host here but you will still keep your domain on your current registrar.

It won't cost you to move it here.

It does cost. It costs a years hosting. But you keep that year

You can move your website to WA without changing the domain name registrar. You'll need to create a backup using the All In One WP Migration plugin and contact Site Support to get further help. Then change the domain name registration when it's closer to the time for renewal.

Hi, if it helps, I have my domain registered over on Google domains and just point the name servers over to WA name servers.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains

"You can point domains registered outside of Wealthy Affiliate to WA Servers and host your websites. To do this update your domain's DNS at the following nameservers: ns1.mywahosting.com ns2.mywahosting.com "

Yes. Your domain registrar, where just the domain name lives, would be able to transfer the domain registration over to WA. You will probably have to pay for a year (13.99) of domain ownership. I am positive the tech support is VERY familiar with this type of transfer.
