Hi William, how did you get on?

It is possible to transfer a domain away from WA.

- Select your domain in your domain dashboard.

- Go to settings

- scroll down to " transfer domain ".

- follow the online instructions.

Let us know how you get on.

so far so good. I will know more completely in about 24-48 hrs. Site support assisted me in less than 4 min. I only initiated it late last night.

There's a 60 day lock imposed on new and recently transferred domains. This is not a WA thing, but rather a ICANN thing:

If you've recently registered or moved it here, you'll have to wait 60 days but, yes you can.

I did not move it here. I just registered a new domain today, and have not built anything yet. So why the 60 days? I can register a site un-hosted but parked at any registration site.

I had a couple here for this niche, but those will be used later. This new site will have some of my articles, but others as well. Thanks,
