Hello WA community,
There might be an answer to my question somewhere down the path of the training (I am at lesson 5 from the 2nd level of the traning currently) but I thought I would just jump and ask anyway :)
The idea of building a website is to create valuable content to help people with a problem in our niche and also have products on the website related to that nice. The products posted are via affiliate links. Do the affiloate links have to be necessarily from Amazon or can I use any website that has an affiliate program?

Amazon is one of thousands of affiliate programs. You can check out the "Affiliate Programs" here at WA. (the green $ sign on the menu to the left). Or google this:
"19 best affiliate programs and networks for everyone and anyone". Some excellent reviews of the very best affiliate programs.
Amazon will deny you unless your site is fairly well established and you are getting traffic. Amazon also has rules on top of rules and they pay very little in commissions.

I just need to consider also the fact that I live in Europe and Amazon is less used here. But as long as I can chose any affiliate program I should be fine :)

Are you from the Netherlands? Or just living there. Tatiana definitely sounds Slavic. I chose Ukraine to live the second half of my life. Eastern Europe is the place for me. Leaving America was the best thing I ever did.

I am living in the Netherlands, originally from Eastern Europe as well. Indeed Tatiana sounds Slavic but I was amazed myself to find plenty of Tatianas from all around the world :)
Don't we all just have our own place to call home? You found yours in Ukraine, maybe some Ukranians found theirs in US :)

Hi - you can apply to any affiliate programs, you are not restricted to Amazon. Level 3 of the training is all about joining affiliate programs and adding links.

Thank you for your reply! Yes indeed I took a look at level 3 and noticed Amazon only and got worried, but I guess that was only an example :)
