', instead of the actual breadcrumbs. I tried both the header, single and page php files. There might be something wrong with my theme, I'm not sure. Anyway, thanks again for your help.

Oh bugger, now I'm confused. If I affiliate with Amazon, as Andy said, we should be able to use their pictures and I'm happy about that. But on my site I want to first talk about a product, show a picture and then somewhere else show the Amazon pics etc. Do I therefore need to affiliate with the manufacturer also as well as Amazon. Sorry, I'm new....
You never mentioned Amazon in your question.
If you show Amazon pictures on social media and they are linked to your posts where you promote Amazon product, you are fine. Everybody is doing this, on Pinterest, G+ etc.
To my understanding you can but it needs to be supportive of the text. It cannot be just to decorate the page. Hope that makes sense.

Great, I've done considerable research on this and this is what I've found and have been doing for myself.
I agree with Caesura that you must be really careful when sharing images.
I've found that pixabay.com, gratisography.com, are great sources for free images.
When searching in Google, go to 'advanced search' and select 'free for commercial use and sharing' on the license type.

Thanks again guys. Yes, I've been looking for suitable CC0 images but when it's a specific product I have found that it is very difficult to find and hence the question about taking the images directly from the manufacturers. Your help is appreciated.

Probably not, in my view.
If you have an affiliate relationship, then you can use images that they provide - often the same ones, actually, but make sure you read the terms/conditions of your affiliate first.
I think (hope!) Amazon for instance allows it, but this may vary by country.
Generally, don't use images from the web unless they are purposely given away free (image websites) is the rule.
