Good morning everyone!
Wrote a post directly in WP. How to manage it in Site Content?
I mean, I don't see it in SiteContent section. This post I wrote yesterday and publ

If you have published a post on your Wordpress site, not sure why you would copy and paste it into sitecontent. Google will always see it is copy and pasted and there fore duplicate.

The easiest way is to create in site content and then publish to your WP site.

Trust this helps :)

Thank you, Martin. Yes, I got it now :)

Yeah... any more questions just shout :)

Hi - if you write directly in WordPress, it doesn't transfer across to Site Content. Any editing will need to be done through WordPress.

You can copy and paste it into Site Content, but don't hit publish, otherwise, it will appear twice on your website.

Just curious as to why you need it to be in Site Content?

Hi Diane,
Thanks.
I was assuming it's a two-way synchronization :) and post will appear in Site Content as well. I was going to delete this first original post after publishing duplicate from SiteContent, but now I dont think it's a good idea...
Why need? Not that it would be something critical, simply, just starting here and thought maybe SiteContent has some additional useful tools (like checking if your post has been indexed on Google?).

Hi there
I would start by unpublishing it whilst waiting for advice from the community.
Blessings
Louise

Hi Louise,
Thanks. Can you explain why I need to unpublish? It's a nice post :)

Is it not a duplicate? My understanding was that Google saw it as a duplicate - which you really don't want.

Yes, therefore I haven't published this post from site content, as I saw this warning of duplicate content.
So it means that posts created from Wordpress directly won't appear in Site Content section, right?

Yes, that is correct. I also found this confusing. Now I post to Site content before publishing, just make it easier. Then I confuse myself the other way around, haha!
