WA Affiliate Program

so looking through the "Getting started" lessons. One of the videos states that you can sign up for affiliate programs. Is there another possible method? Would one be able to c

Too much red tape for me. Anyone can become a company offering affiliate memberships. Doing though requires a thousand things to be in place first of all. And, I won't go into these but have read some serious info on this.
It is far more easier to just use affiliates to make money for ourselves with none of the hassles of product sales. For me anyway. I'm in this to work less eventually...no more.
You can easily work outside of the WA program. I did my first site and never had it linked to WA. I just used the training here.
It sounds to me that you may be bored already, just having a few affiliates is not going to be interesting enough for you. You can always start any kind of business you wish. Given that you appear to be young enough and have 10 to 20 years to develop such...I would go for it!
To your success!

Nothing today is an impossibility like it may have been 50 years ago.

I'm here to make money with minimal effort. I'm simply trying to understand different ways to go about getting affiliates

You could contact a company and tell them that you are interested in promoting them online if they want to offer their product/service through an affiliate network.
Another option (and easier for them) would be to offer to advertise their business on your site with a banner ad for a small monthly fee.

When you say "small monthly fee" that's going to vary a lot depending on your site traffic correct?

Traffic and the price of what you're promoting yes.

For example, let's say I pay the initial sum for a month of premium membership. A month later, Let's say I have five websites with their own domain. However, let's say I also

You may want to consider paying the annual fee up front. It only costs $359.95. A considerable savings from the monthly fee. I know this might be difficult, but, WA is worth every penny you pay. You may have to cut back on some expenses, but if you can, try paying the annual fee. You get two months free.

Good luck!

Nice name, George! I'm a George too!
Unfortunately, $400 is a little high for me. I'm a junior in high school with no job.

I believe you have 30 days to move your sites and host them elsewhere.

The person who sponsored me left WA twice and has returned again for the 3rd time. A better question is "Why are you Leaving WA?" If you are leaving because you think you know enough to go out on your own, then you may need to reconsider. The Internet is constantly evolving and you need enough eyes and ears to keep you in tune to new changes. That's WA.

I would not be leaving, I simply wouldn't always be able to afford a membership fee unless my sites were bringing in enough money.

good thing to know, & thanks for asking!

You can keep your sites with your own domain. You just need to transfer them to another hosting company. WA gives 30 days before the hosting stops. But, WA is worth it for the training, support and hosting. You also get a good size discount for the first month.

great question, the answer should be here somewhere, let's also see who else can help us out on this one!
