I'm confused, I have a Amazon UK account will people from other countries who purchase an item not count towards my commission?

Hi Gregg
I understand it acts as a funnel and will count towards your commission where ever people purchase an item
thanks

All items purchased from your website will count...it does not matter from where. Make sense?

Sorry so late...the Amazon Affiliate contact phone number is below...
Well, thank you for waiting for my answer.
I just spoke with an Amazon Affiliate Representative and not only did he check my links AFTER INSTALLING AN AMAZON LOCALIZER, but the sales did not redirect to my affiliate account. The Amazon Localizers do not work. I deleted the Amazon Localizer and refreshed. Perfect...sales linked and we're back.
So I specifically asked about New Zealand and the response is the same for all other countries. Anybody, anywhere can click on any Amazon link and purchase product. The sale will be credited to the owner of the website. It does not matter where you click to purchase. It is not necessary to apply with the different Amazon country sites either. He said, a link is a link and it didn't matter! I feel better now! This is good to know because a lot of us were under a different impression.
In summary, delete your Amazon Localizers, so you receive credit for the sales.
Amazon's direct number is 1 800 372 8066.
This should have been a Blog...good luck!

I spent a lot of time on the phone with Amazon Affiliates. There is only one Amazon. I was told not to use any special plugins as my affiliate codes did not populate at all! Good luck...just one Amazon program!

Thanks. I'm now confused. I got this from Amazon yesterday

"Please know that at this time, the Associates programmes for the Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.co.jp, Amazon.ca, Amazon.it, Amazon.es and Amazon.com sites are completely separate. Each site requires a separate application, and you will have a different ID for each.

In addition, links formatted for one programme will not be able to earn you commission at the other site.

We do believe, however, that it often makes sense to participate in multiple programmes. You can then have multiple links for each item, one for your American visitors and the other for your British and European visitors.

Here you will find a complete description of each programme:

http://www.amazon.de/partner
http://www.amazon.com/associates
http://www.amazon.co.uk/associates
http://www.amazon.fr/partenaires
http://www.amazon.co.jp/associates
http://www.amazon.ca/associates
https://programma-affiliazione.amazon.it/
https://afiliados.amazon.es/

Let me find the direct phone number...crazy!

Well I just signed up to .co.uk, I am already .com. All you are getting is a more extensive range of products. I still have the same refence coe as .com and was offered to sign up under one account to have all EU Amazon domains

I use a plugin called Easyazon which automatically sends the buyer to their local amazon market. I think you may have to buy it though as this localisation feature is not available on the free version.

Ah I see. Sounds like what I need. Will check it out. Thanks

Hey I was wondering do you need to sign up to all the different associate programmes for easy azon to send to their local amazon market and make a comission? i am in the UK and am having trouble signing up to the us associates as i don't have a us phone number to do the verification and wondered if this plugin would be a way around it?

Hi George Have you got any results from this plug-in?

I was not aware there was a UK version as I would find this very suitable. I have the .com version. You should sign up for both

Hi George, I would put my finger where the money is likely to come from.
Whether you can join both? I will leave to other gurus to tackle that one.
Thanx

Hi

I recently got this ogo from Fiverr and got the attached. Do you think this will add value / better presentation to my site?

greatactingperformances.com </

Are you kidding, that looks GREAT. Like Mundy22 asked, this site is about past movies right?

Hi Mwilly
Thanks for your comments. It's not only about past movies and my current posts are from current TV series. I've got loads of good feedback and have the option of getting a reworked logo so will see what also comes back. It's not bad for $5 :)
Thanks

I like it, its eye catching, I presume your site would be about classic actors pass tense, like Maryln Monroe, John Waine, Tony Curtis, Fred Astaire, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis would be great to have those faces at the top though, don't you think?

Thanks for the feedback mundy22. As I said to Mwilly it's not just about past movies and TV shows. Given the names you have mentioned its clear this logo highlights and points to that era and fits well. My site is more modern but will highlight movies and shows from all eras including very recent movies.
Thanks

Red and black always make an impact. The guy looks like the Marlboro Man, though. I think it's still good, though. Very striking.

He's an actor posing as The Marlboro Man!

Well, all righty, then! :)

Yes, I believe it will. It's classy and will look great! Good luck!

i like it!

I agree with Michelle. Thinking cowboy myself...but I love the bold colors!

Hi. I really like the logos colors. I'm not as fond of the man they chose, he looks like a cowboy, which I'm not sure you are trying to portray. :) I do like it better than the plain one you have on your website right now though. Just my opinion. Michelle

I looked at the site, which currently only has a text title.

I think the logo would really lend to a more professional presentation.
I originally thought "western" at first and didn't see the connection. Then again there really isn't anything you could use for "acting performance" other than classic the "happy sad" masks. And, those are kinda cliche with lots of overuse. I give credit for thinking outside the box.

I would run with the logo. Heck, do like Google does. Have a bunch of them and use the red-grey color scheme as your mark and swap the logo once a month or so. Making your logo "perform." Just a thought.

Love it! Black and red are powerful colors together, great eye-catcher.

My image does not appear on the Google Snippets Testing Tool and I get an error relating to rel=”publisher”. Any ideas

greatactingperformances.com

Thanks

The same thing happened to me, I also had
to go to G plus to make it happen

George,

Greetings to you.
To answer your question Google has done away with Authorship and images being displayed through normal search.

If you have a G+ account and you release your posts there Google does pick them up and with your picture.

I hope this helps,

Gary

Ah I see. Thanks Gary.

George,

I got buffaloed on that one too about 3 or so months ago just as they were getting rid of it I was learning how to use it?

Google is a living, changing and constantly evolving entity...

Hi

I am using the Hiero theme on greatactingperformances.com.

After some feedback I am looking at options of changing the white background which defaults on all pa

yes and you could also use patterns they work very well all the best

I would say, yes. When you want to do that, keep in mind that you want to use high resolution images. Those types of images are very big and will cover your entire website. This will avoid the repetition of the image, and making the website look less professional. Just my thoughts on this, though.

In wordpress you can customize your theme. This also includes changing the background. You go to "appearance" and then "customize". You will see all available options to customize your theme there.
