I have some CSS code, which i think would move the tagline within the header.
Do anyone know where to input this CSS?
here it is.

If you go to Appearance > Editor, on the right hand side you should find custom.css which is where you can add modifications such as these. I wouldn't recommend changing style.css. :) Rich.

If you do decide to change anything, be sure to make a backup of your site, plus copy and paste original to notepad, in case you need to back out!
style.css may get overwritten at a theme update, and also if you damage the code it can have unforeseen consequences, so by using custom.css which is called after style.css you won't suffer such issues. There's a lot of training on this, just type "css" in the search bar above, ie. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/css-primer-the-basics-of-styling-your-site The majority of people replace the title and tagline by uploading a logo. :) Rich.

Any walkthrough video for understanding wordpress?

Type a wordpress in the search toolbar at the top of your screen here at WA and you will find a lot of video and text tutorials
in portfolio page, can i make 4 boxes/categories
for ex- illustration work, photoshop work, web design work etc?

GeniusAli, when you have your portfolio page opened, then where you would edit your page and put writing in, you hit the button for Add Media. when you open the media, you are going to see create gallery on the left hand side

I wanna add a page to my site named portfolio and inside that page i want to show my graphic design work.
Hi - if you go to Pages - Add New Page - name it Portfolio.
You can then click on Add Media - and upload your images.
Then click on "create gallery" from the Media popup - you can then select the images you want to include in the gallery.
From memory, you will be asked how many columns you want to see on your page - choose what you think is reasonable (3-6 perhaps - so people can still see the small images).
Then I think when people click on an image - they will see larger version, and can scroll through the rest of the images.

There are many tutorials here - but it would be good to know specifically where you are stuck just now, so we can help point you to training (or just give advice) to get you over this hurdle.

Mark, the gallery only works (eg goes large) when you click on the middle column. Then you get the lot. I'm not sure if that is what you intended. Very nice though.
