Hi guys,

So when I got here to WA I started building my website as instructed and by the time I got to Bootcamp...I was 30 pages in and now needed to build another site

Hi

I also agree with both Dale and Lula, if they are related to the same niche why having two sties? It doesn't make sense.

Because I went through the initial training and when I started the Bootcamp it was a different training and I thought I was supposed to. Nobody said.

"If you are now coming from certification and already have a site, we are going to build on that and not make another one"...they just started having us build another one. lol.

The Affiliate Bootcamp is your make money online niche vs own.

We always recommend starting out with own niche vs the Affiliate Bootcamp (make money online niche) as the latter is a lot harder and more competitive, you would need to write 300 to 400 articles before you are able scratch the surface, (100 plus for own)

You'd also need to do the whole Bootcamp in its entirety before you can commence with your site.

Recommendation is to focus on ONE niche at a time, even Kyle himself would recommend the same.

To learn more

Ty for that. One is kind of my personal and I am using the other for Affiliate. They are branded together and linked together mostly to give my affiliate site credibility as to who I am.

I have completed all of the Amendments to the constitution so I will now focus on a 3-1 scenario where I will do 1 page for the History site to 3 revies on the affiliate.

Ty for your time on this issue. I needed to get in the direction no matter what direction that is :-)

Glenn

You may add a section in your About Me page of your own niche with a brief description of some benefits the WA affiliate program offers and add your affiliate link. That's $ sign top menu.

Obviously visitors would click the About Me to learn more about your site and interact with you provided you made it as a post, an opportunity each time someone's click on your link and sign up, you get a referral.

that sounds like a win-win!

Absolutely :)

Hmm, if the sites are both in the same niche you shouldn't need to create a separate site. You can add both normal posts and reviews to the same site, providing they're in the same niche.

I already have both sites, I wasn't warned not to so I figured I was supposed to lol.

One is American History and the other the American Dream but they are not the same per sei.

I could not just do a review on wealthy affiliate or jaaxy where I have been writing about our constitution and amendments, it would look out of place.

I can write for both but I want to make the right decision as to speed and elevation of income potential.

Also, it seems that when I write a so-called review it is coming out as information as opposed to a review. I don't draw a lot of comparisons to other products as of yet, I just try to educated others on their decision and point them in the right direction.

I want to be able to reprogram now as opposed to later if I can. I am Almost 3 months in with 35 posts and need to make sure I don't give up time that is wasted.

should I ditch the second site before it gets indexed and load to the other site or what?

Couldn't you link to the egg site back and forth?

I am and very well, works great to me but I am not the pro and cant build 100 posts each in a year. Might do 120-150 between the 2 but don't want to hurt my speed of income doing so. I also don't want to hurt it by looking out of place.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Maybe you could make the egg site a subdomain in the main site!

that is exactly what I'm thinking but I will need to read on it to do it properly

Awesome, and I believe there are posts and links available on that subject when you click on the magnifying glass at the top and type in Sub Domains.

Jeff

Hey
How did you work out your potential in traffic and how accurate? I don't know why this set up I can be spreading myself thin because now I have my own and bootcamp (mmo) and finding it really hard making out. I think it is better to focus one ONE niche website in the beginning. Can you combine both? I do informational and reviews on the one site. IMO

All through Jaxxy...There is nobody who offers information online for American History at all except lawyers and Wikipedia.

All my key phrases are great potential and great traffic from homeschoolers and parents trying to teach at home

Great going.
But I think to include them under the one site.

ok that may be how I do it. Dale is in here and he is my coach so I am going with a general opinion as soon as we get it talked through

Ty my friend
Glenn

Absolutely, do you mind me asking how the potential is worked out and by what ratio, kinda interesting to learn. Thank you :)

Well I am getting traffic but it is only 2 months in so it will be a while still before I know anything. Google doesn't care who you are for about 13 months. That's when they know you have repurchased your domain and are ready for another year...lol.

Haha yeah true :)
I am aware our content doesn't get noticed till 35 weeks in give take (7 - 8 months) so it might happen sooner. BUT worth the effort, thank you and wishing you continued success.

Hi guys!

I am doing a page on keyword tools and was wondering if I can get a link from Jaaxy to send traffic to and it still is the same affiliate scenario as if we sent

Glenn
Thanks for I learn from your question 😎

Joce

I am never embarrassed to ask because I know if I need to know...there are others who need to know as well :-)

Absolutely! Like me 😊 just you know I am thankful!

Joce

No it is possible for people to join Jaaxy but not Wealthy Affiliate. So the Jaaxy link is different to the WA link.

that is very true so I went another route but still accomplished what I needed. Ty my friend!

Glenn

Hi Glenn, for sure, you can find Jaaxy affiliate details here: https://my.jaaxy.com/affiliate/details

And with regards to interlinking, yes - if somebody signs up for WA then creates a Jaaxy account you'll be attributed the referral for both :)

thank you, my friend...hope you are having an awesome day!

Glenn

Hi

If they sign up to Jaaxy they would be listed under your referrals.

.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/referrals

.

TY!

Do the cookies pick up on it the same as my WA link? Just wondering if I send them to WA and tell them to click on Jaaxy link or send them straight to Jaaxy? Sorry to bother you on the holiday..ty for helping 😁

You'd find your jaaxy affiliate link

https://my.jaaxy.com/affiliate/details

"last cookie wins"

I need to upgrade to pro to do that but I have been wanting to do so for a while anyway...lol

Hi Everybody, hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend!

Hi

Before you sign up you site need be ready. However if not, nothing stopping from doing a review and when you apply and get approved you would include material and special tracking code on your site.

Look for searches (avg.) above 30 and competition (qsr. ) lower than 100, the lower the qsr the better. Starter sites SEO greater than 95.

.
https://my.jaaxy.com/search/keywords

You would have written 20 - 30 posts and have some traffic to be able apply for affiliate programs as typically they will check your site for relevance and traffic prior approval.

For Amazon it is 10 - 15 posts.

Once accepted, they've given you material and special tracking code links you can share on your site.

Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.

Once they do, and in accordance with your affiliation terms and conditions, how commission payouts are tracked and paid. You need to read up how payments are made because different programs follow different rules; some pay by check others via PayPal or straight to your check account.

I would always adhere to your affiliate program terms and conditions.

thank you so much for that!

I will go freshen up on my terms and conditions right now..

Glenn

So very welcome.

Hey Everybody,

I am generally really good at figuring everything out so long as I have the time. But, what the heck, I'm going to go ahead and throw this question out the

the score inside aio really doesn't matter ..they are hints as to what you may be able to improve on...
what really counts is that you are creating useful quality content that google wants to present to your niche...
and if you do this then you get visitors...
so keep marketing your site to your niche and creating content htat they want and don't worry too much about the scores in aio...look at the guidelines and see if changing the article will add value..if not then leave it alone...
have fun
phil

Awesome...Ty so much for that, you are very much appreciated

Glenn

I don't want to sound like a parrot, but 93 when you are kicking off a site in the very competitive MMO niche is a very good score. One of the traps we can fall into is worrying about metrics, especially when we are doing okay. You will probably hear this one a gazillion times as well; just keep on creating that content; things have a habit of falling into place as we go.
Best wishes, Glenn; You are doing great.

thank you so much, my friend :-) I am anal retentive and when I do something I do it all the way, just like I will here...looking forward to being able to help answer these questions in the future

Thank you, sir!

Glenn

You are on the right track, in the beginning when we are in boots and all, so easy to worry when there is no need to, look forward to watching your success unfold.

The audit will tell you below if this is about AIO SEO, but honestly, it's a great score; the best advice to stop obsessing about it and write some more content or do more research :) Good luck, PS If you don't want those scores, I'll have them!

outstanding and hilarious...I guess I'm too much of an over achiever...lol

Thank you so much for that!

Glenn

Haha, Glen, it was a compliment, honest, very impressive!

Anything over 80 is good, so I am told, so you seem to be doing very well, Glenn!

Jeff

80! I don't know if I could live with that...lol. I've got to have 91 or figure it out...lol

Thank you, my friend

Glenn

Just saying, Glenn! Those are the stats I looked at, if you're at 93 that's pretty darn good!

Jeff

lol...I'm horrible when it comes to leaving well enough alone :-)

I know what you mean in some case, Glenn, just don't suffer form "paralysis by analysis", my friend!

Jeff

I won't my friend :-) I'm not even 3 months in and I have 30 posts on the history site and 2 on the review site and I don't plan on slowing down.

Once I know the equation my hands and mind will get me the rest...lol. I've never had a hobby I was addicted to but I love that it keeps me busy...lol.

After the quirks are out of me each page will be faster. I don't think Ill do more than 150 the first year (100 for history / 50 for reviews) but the following year we will see.

It will depend on many factors. The one factor you can count on though is that I will be right here with you guys helping others be there too.

Talk to you soon my friend

Glenn

Very awesome, Glenn! You certainly have the proper attitude and mindset then!

Hi ... The general rule of thumb is one link per 500 words. That being said, as long as your post appears to be helpful and not just aimed at making a sale, you should be fine to add more on some occasions.

As for the question on opening to a new window, if the link is an external link taking the user to a new site YES you will always want it to open in a new window. Otherwise, they get directed away from your site and may not find their way back.

If, on the other hand, the link is an internal link where they are just being directed to another post/page within your site it is fine to not open in another window.

Best, Shannon

I fully agree :-)

That is what I figured but I didn't know if going to WA and leaving the site as a possible strategy to make it harder to return on purpose.

TY so much for your time!

Glenn

Well if they come to WA through one of your personal links they will already be your referral as WA has a lifetime cookie. (As long as they do not happen to click on another person's WA affiliate link before they set up an account.)

Perfect, you are awesome! Ty so much
