Finally, Google Noticed Me!
When you're waiting for something like Google to index your site, it can be hard to be patient. I have been eagerly checking to see if my site was indexed by the search engine.
Even though I knew it takes time and I've been through this before, it was different this time. Those little badges really encourage me!
Finally, today, I decided to take matters into my own hands and I went and figured out how to verify the site on Google. I got Analytics set up for it (is it just me or does everyone forget how to do these things in between websites?) and finally verified the site.
At long last, the whole "Fetch as Google" thing that keeps popping up all over made sense to me! I used it. That was this morning. In the afternoon, we were gone for several hours at a birthday party.
Upon our return, I decided to jump on WA and get busy . . . and lo and behold, I had the Google badge! BOOYAH!

Congratulations. Getting indexed is the first step to getting rankings. I see it as a small step but I feel it is very important when it comes to taking a huge step forward. Keep going and much success to you
Congrats! I feel like I forget more than I remember and will definitely have to follow the training through from the beginning on each site I do!
