Hi everyone,
I have always had a problem getting traffic to my site.I have tried using SEO to the best of my ability and i am on Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr, but stil

Hi bazboy247.
Of course you are right, thanks for replying.

I agree with the sentiment below. It's not about traffic it's about targeted, motivated traffic. the fiverr gigs will at best send click farm traffic and at worst non targeted who get annoyed at ending up at the site.

If you want quick targeted traffic you could look at Adwords but take care as it can be costly. Keep on creating relevant content and posting on social and the traffic will appear.

Years ago I tried a little marketing and used gig bucks, which is a similar kind of site.I paid 10 dollars for something utterly crazy like a 10,000 email addresses.Thinking this was a good thing but when I received them they were not legimate and were just merely conjured from someone,s head.so i would totally agree with the others, getting traffic like this is not the way you want to go getting it.
Did you utilise your 30 searches on Jaaxy,I would have thought yu would get somewhere with these.

You do not want traffic to your site, what you want is buyer traffic to your site

Nobody on fiver can give you that

Barry

Well, actually, there are times when you may want traffic (NON Robot Traffic, but real ip registered USA traffic :) ... it all depends on the purpose :) ...

I get lots of traffic, but they don't do anything. I only get it when I want the traffic numbers, I don't get it for click throughs

I'm with everyone here who says it's not good traffic. It's like buying "likes" on Facebook. All it does is increase a number. Oh, you might get one or two who will read it, but there are other ways. Good Luck!

Hi Carla,
Thank you for your reply.
Everyone is right now i have read the replies. The traffic comes from people who aren't really interested in what i write. In future i will try other methods to get the traffic.

Steve and mishand are right, That traffic is not good.
It is not traffic that is interested in what you write.
While it probably won't hurt your ranking and may help your Alexa rating, it is still not the kind of traffic you need.

Hi Bruce,
Many thanks for replying, everyone is right, it is not traffic that is interested in what i write.

If you are looking at Fiverr for traffic, I would say no.

I did try it one time to get traffic, but it wasn't the targeted traffic like the reviews had said they would be.

Honestly the best traffic is what you get through your keywords and content.

Hi Heather,
Many thanks for your reply,i have decided never to use Fiverr for traffic again.

To me, the traffic isn't worth it if it's not people that want to read my content and benefit from it. Those are the returning readers and that's my goal.

Hi mishands,
You have made a good point there about people that want to read my content, thank you for replying.

It's not a good idea to pay for traffic (outside of PPC). They won't be "real" visitors many times and you will have short duration visits and a high bounce rate. Things that will adversely affect you site rankings.

Hi steve,
Thanks for your reply,i had no idea it would affect my site rankings.
I won't be buying traffic from Fiverr in the future.

Hi all,
I signed up to Google Adsense and then received this email from Google.

Welcome to AdSense

Your application has been successfully reviewed. Now yo

Hi jadeseef,
I really don't know what is going on,but i just tried Google Adsense again, and it allowed me to log in.
I have now pasted the code in to my website, and it is just a case of Google allowing the ads now, because at the moment the ads aren't showing.

best wishes

Gary.

I'm glad it's working now. I've had weird cases like this before too. I hope everything goes well. n_n

Hi Gary! -

I'm impressed!

Your site is looking very nice - there is a couple of small things I've noticed - but you can get those sorted out in no time!

The bigger problem at the moment is I can't see any Adsense Ads!

It's now Saturday morning at 5:24

Give me a update when you have time

** Have a Great Productive Day! **

David

Hi David,
I had an email from Google saying the ads will appear in about a weeks time, why i don't know.
Any help and suggestions with the site building would be appreciated.

many thanks

Gary.

Hi jadeseef,
Thank you and i am now following you.

best wishes

Gary.

hmmm you cant log into your account at all? If you can and able to get a code to put on your site then it should be fine, but if not that is weird. My suggestion is to wait it out for now.

Hi everyone,
I have just signed up for Adsense, and it said that my site would be reviewed before accepting me.

My question is this,
"does everyone get accepted for Ads

Hi David and je 1777,
I got up this morning and checked my emails and one Email was from Google saying my site has been accepted.
All i have got to do now is work out how to put their HTML coding on my site.
Happy Days

Gary.

Hi Gary! -

You'll work that out - it's fairly straight forward - from memory

Congrats Gary! Drop me a line if you need some help.

Morning Gary! -

Generally - I think they do!

Have you submitted a website or a blog to them?

** Have A Great Productive Day! **

David

Hi Gaz,
Unfortunately, No. In fact, Google is actually quite picky about who they approve for their Adsense program. However, if you're not trying to "game" them, and you're providing a quality experience to the user, you should be fine. Check out Google's tips for getting approved for the Adsense program here:

http://goo.gl/XGaVk9

If, and when you get approved, be certain to follow ALL of the Adsense guidelines to the letter... Google is not shy about banning your Adsense account indefinitely if they feel that you are in violation of any of their terms.

Hi je 1777,
Many thanks for the reply and the link.
If i get approved by Google i will very happy,at least i must be doing right with my site.

I wiil let you know if i get approved.

best wishes

Gary.

Im having difficulty deciding what to put on the home page, any ideas,?

Hi Ashley,
Firstly it's nice to meet you,and thank you for answering my question.
I understand about the home page a whole lot more with your help.

I have only just started my website, and it really isn't much to look at.
I have yet to add my "about me" page, but i am working on it.

I loved your website by the way,you obviously know your way around wordpress.

One last thing, thank you for the "follow" i have returned the favour and i am now following you.

my best wishes to you in your business,

Gaz.

Thanks so much Gaz! I'll be checking in on you, keep up the good work and let's stay connected!

Hi Gaz!

I'm delighted to answer your question! In my experience, the home page for lots of themes are floating or smart pages, which means that as you add blog posts to your site, the home page will reflect small snippets of each one.

If you've chosen to use a static homepage, you may have the option to design that page however you'd like! Depending on your topic you might want to look into adding some widgets that are relevant to your site (i.e. a large photo gallery of all your products or relevant photos), or a very nice welcome message to your audience could suffice!

Whatever you do, try your best to make it visually pleasing to the audience and it should be fine! sn: add your domain name to this post so that others can visit. This will make it easier for us to help give you ideas!

Sincerely,
~Ashley A.~
