I tried CamStudio. The program did not run! I tried 2-3 times had all sorts of issues. Finally, lost patience. :)

Screencast-O-Matic was brilliant right away. I used the free version.
Just need to check if it leaves a watermark and the reason behind the background noise(possibly the noise is because of the microphone).

The upgrade is just $15/year - good for videos longer than 15 minutes or for using your computer audio.

Yes, I just had a look at the program and $15 a year is very good. Will try it out. Thanks again :-)

That's good, Ann. The trial version serves most purposes, and the annual upgrade charge is dirt cheap.

You don't have to learn the hard way and do the trial and error. However, sometimes the mind is not satisfied till you have had the experience first hand.

Great, I was disappointed will the screen-recording software I came across.
There's open-source software, which is often good(if not brilliant), but for screen-recording, all are crap.

The paid ones have too many features we don't need for the purpose and cost $200 a year or a hefty monthly subscription.

You must be knowing videos get more traffic than anything else. It's good to do short videos, though.
