The principles shown here are solid, but you do have some choices for the execution. Study the sites that are designed the way you want to design yours, then meld what they are doing with what is happening here. I've seen many successful sites with individual posts such as you envision. Then instead of having a single post as a category, you can have multiple posts under a category. It can work.

You should have the 'Read More' function within the menu when you have an article in Edit Mode.
Do you mean in Word press, or specifically in the elementor editor?
