Hello team,

I am trying to build a website on this domaine name: burundidi.org hosted outside of WA.
I have already pointed domain name server to WA NS1 and NS2, howe

What kind of error?

I can confirm that the domain name is already hosted here

How long since you pointed the domain name to ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com? It can take up to 48 hours to propagate and you will get an error message until that's completed.

I would send in a support ticket. On the top menu, click "Help," and you can do it from there.

DONE.
Because the support ticket flow requires to pick a domain name hosted here, I was reluctant to pick another one.

I keep getting many emails stating the following:

New user registration on your site Online Business Tutorial:
Username: ***********
Email:

Hey Brice,

See screen prints below...

Hope you find this helpful.

Hey Trish! Thank you so much for your help!
Quick question if you have a minute. Those people who registered on my website, how did they find my website? Thank you!

They are hackers Brice... and because I am not a hacker, I cannot tell you proof-positively how they do that. You could Google search the topic if you are really interested in learning.

Thank you so much!!!

I woke up to the following comment notification:

... [Trackback][...] Read More Infos here: onlinebusinesstutorial.com/affiliate-marketing/ [...]

I'm a bit late but thought I would add this info for anyone who comes along later

Perhaps pings and trackbacks are turned on in the WP settings. These days most trackbacks and pings are spam or automated self-pings by WP each time you publish or update one of your posts. It can get annoying.

Check WP Settings > General > Discussion

To disable, remove the check mark if there is one there.

See Screenshot. ~Jude

It looks like someone may have commented on another website and added your link and sent you a trackback so you were aware.

Thanks Nick! How can I verify the content of the comment?

Here's a good article from Wordpress on what a Trackback and Pingback are:

https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/building-your-wordpress-community/trackbacks-and-pingbacks/

Thanks for the information. I have a quick question for you... associated with the trackback s not linked to any website; does that mean it was a spam trackback?

I'm thinking it probably just means that the URL is no longer valid, so I think Spam is a good guess. Did you get a domain name to see if the website itself is even valid?

The domain name was linking to an error page. I flagged the trackback!

Good idea, how weird though!

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

I have finished the Online Entrepreneurship Training, do I need to go through the bootcamp as well? What is the difference between the 2 programs?

Affiliate Bootcamp is for people or who promoting WA as a product but, it is good to take both trainings. Although I promote WA, I still took OEC so, both pieces of training are helpful.

If I can remember correctly, Affiliate Bootcamp breaks down how to write product reviews, PPC campaigns, YouTube, and more.

Of course, it's not a requirement but very helpful.

Thanks La’Kisha!

I definitely need to learn how to write a good review because my website has just regular articles. Thank you for the information!

Brice Gateka

You're welcome, Brice

I would certainly recommend it as you will learn more about targeted marketing, albeit initially aimed at marketing WA, but you can use it for any product set.

Thank you

Hey Brice,

Here is Kyle's original blog post introducing the bootcamp training: Hope you find this helpful.

Waoh, that's a great description of the Bootcamp! Thanks for sharing

It will go into more detail on certain promotional ideas..it is geated towards promoting and to promote WA but you can use a lot of the training to help with your other promotions as well

Thanks!

I already use a Thrive Theme, howrever all my mobile pagespeed scores are below 50. I'm wondering what would be the best mobile friendly plugin I can use. Thank you!

Hi Gateka,

Regarding your question "Is there a need to use a mobile friendly plugin?", answer is definitely yes.

According to SimilarWeb’s State of Mobile Web US 2017 report, approximately 61% of consumer traffic to US websites came from mobile devices and is expected continue to grow.

So it is important to optimize your website for mobile.

I came across the following plugins;
1. WPtouch Pro
2. Word Press Mobile Pack

You may explore further.

Hope this helpful to you!

Thank you so much for the information, let me check the suggested plugins!

Hey Brice,

Using Thrive Themes myself and suffered the same issue. Turned out that I needed to remove ANY unnecessary plugins as I had FAR too many "toys" that were truly not needed.

The more basic you can make your WordPress theme, the better it will load in mobile devices.

There are lots of ways to remove the necessity of plugins that you may be using for one tiny option.

Hope you find this helpful.

I'm glad to hear that. I ended up deleting some of the Plugins that I don't need for now, and my website speed is better. Thanks Trish!

Hi there, sorry i can’t help you on this - way outside of my knowledge base. I would be interested to know the answer though. Hope you get it resolved

No worries... Thanks for stopping by!
