What is it with some people?
Hello Fellow Affiliates
I was in the company of friends, family and acquaintances, the other day and it struck me how skeptical and unmotivated most folks are in improving their financial standings.
I started pitching them about affiliate marketing, now these are people that boast to be internet savvy, have lightning fast internet connections, top of the range pc's and mobile phones, and the best they achieve with these powerful resources is banter on social media sites and live stream the latest movies, what a waste,
They are just not interested in using these tools to earn an income, preferring to spend each month on high speed connections without being interested in earning some of that back.
One would think that in a modern age, more of us would want to earn an income in a modern way, we acquire powerful tools and waste it and our time on leisure only. but when these same people hit on hard times, who do they turn to for help?
I remember those days, but at least when told of affiliate marketing, I sat up and researched and researched and researched....................., joined a few scammers, burnt my fingers, wasted money and eventually found WA, at least I did something.
So what does it take for others to see what I see?, I guess I just have to persevere and continue interacting with them and keep telling them how they are being left behind by their own ignorance, now most of these people I am referring to are Baby Boomers, my Piers, hope that they eventually come around to what I see in Affiliate Marketing.

I think us old school people are from an age where it was all about grinding at a 9 - 5 job and being able to stay home and earn money was a dream. Just keep working on them, hopefully, they will come around. You're doing them a great service and they don't even know it yet. Thank you for sharing

It truly is funny how people are afraid or don't even care about securing their financial freedom Gary. When they finally do come around, opportunities may not be around for them. All we can do is urge them on or let them go about their business.

Friends and family are the ones most likely drag someone down who tries to think differently than they do. Been there. Just shake it off, mate and keep going :)

Thanks for popping it, it earned you a new follower LoL, joking aside, I cannot agree with you more on this, moving on seems the only option, but as a person that that has been in service industry most of my adult life, I find it difficult and cannot just give up on them, so I try and try again.

Might have better chance to ride in with a brand new Jaguar. So I say, make it "big" with your online business first, don't waste energy on them right now, then when you are up there, you can try to pull them up too. But remember, you can only help those to climb a tree who wants to climb a tree. Cheers! :)

Yes / people tent to just complain but not willing to change a thing.
I tried so many things in my life / failed a lot, but then I try the next and finally I got here and I am happy to do something with more ground
Ahhhh .... And your friends. If they do not really need their high tech stuff like latest lap top or Better a Mac book for example, I could need one here, hahahah
