Hello Fellow Affiliates

I have just completed my 1st video as taught to me in Boot Camp training Phase 4 Lesson 9, inserted it into a post and published the post, here is a link, if you are interested in seeing the end result,

http://vehiclemaintenanceandre...

It is my 1st attempt, so please grill me like a succulent pig, as it will only enhance my future efforts. Hahahahaha.

Friends, I can tell you that this training is "CRAZY", in a good way of course, at the end of all the official training I envisage great things for my website and online business, as it is growing from strength to strength each day.

The unofficial training is just as invaluable, as it comes from experienced authors and teachers, but it will have to wait until I finish my Boot Camp and Certification courses.

All the best my FRIENDS

I've watched it, your spark plugs are two, lol

Thanks for dropping by, Jimmy, yes that is a small car, but reliable, light on fuel, esay to work on and fun to drive,

All the best
Gary

Yes, Gary. I think even the smallest car can have at least four spark plugs. What I saw was the spark plugs you have shown, the one with the right gap and the other one with an improper gap, that is only to let you know I entered your site, lol.

Hi Gary, since you asked to be grilled "like a succulent pig", here are my thoughts:

I realize it will be a lot more intensive to do it this way, but I would suggest a completely live video approach for future additions - vs photos in Windows photo viewer. People will benefit more by seeing you doing the work and all of the steps required. Maybe use a tripod or ask a friend to help film the difficult angles in close quarters. I'm sure it isn't easy having to navigate around an engine block with dirty hands while trying to film yourself. ;) I don't know what kind of gear you have, but search Google for joby gorillapod -- I have one that works for my mobile & another for a larger digital video camera. It's an awesome tripod that you can set up almost anywhere. It will be great for your future use... Even if you want to just film from your mobile device. If you go this route and want to private message me, I'm happy to point you toward an app that allows you to edit video right from your phone. It's very cheap given how powerful it is.

Those are my only immediate suggestions. Otherwise, you cover the process excellently.

If you do future screencasts like this, and video isn't an option, click the icon to make the photos full screen. This will help people who go full screen on the video really be able to see details in all your photos.

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a very effective method as a first effort. ANY video is better than no video at all.

You're going to do absolutely phenomenal with your niche. I'm sure a lot of people who dabble in fixing their cars will be motivated to do more themselves with all you're teaching them. Looking forward to all your future updates!

Hello Jason, thanks for the visit and may I say a great big thank you for the constructive criticism and mentorship on doing video,

I am all thumbs right now but will improve with time, I have all the equipment needed to do live video, in actual fact I have a library of raw footage,

I decided to start simple and build up to more complex instalments.

All the photos in my first instalment video, are snapshots from my recorded maintenance and repairs video's procedures.

As you know, this business is a lifetime deal and showing one's full hand at the start is not good strategy,

A build up is better and stretching out the materials, will allow me to publish more posts over a longer period.

Once again, thank you for your input Jason

All the best
Gary

I definitely agree... looking forward to the next installment!

That's a great educational video Gary, and a terrific choice for a car! Toyota! That's the best there is:))

Thanks for the visit Loes, and the positive comments, yes it is a good reliable make of car, it is extremely popular here in South Africa.

All the best
Gary

I know, I have a starlet, and it my No #1

congratulations

Thanks for popping in and the pat on the back Davida,

All the best to you.

Gary
