If you build it, a great formula for character.

How do you develop a good character plan?

Where does a good character come from? Are we born with it? Can we inherit it? Can we buy it? Of course the answers to all these questions is a resounding No! Our character is forged through adversity, through struggles, and through the hardships of life. If you spend any time trying to build your business it can be a struggle to maintain, and to continue building up your character. Building up your character requires courage as well as being truthful about yourself. Truthfully assessing both your strengths and all of your weaknesses. We should leverage our strengths, while at the same time devising a plan to improve in our areas of weakness. Also, to approve upon ourselves we have to be willing to open up to others on the same journey. We will find out that many others also suffer in the same areas of weakness that we do. We're on a grand journey that not only offers to greatly enhance our income and our way of life, but also the character and the quality of person that we are. I firmly believe that there is no better investment that we can make than in the investment that we make in ourselves. Sticking with the plan means, sticking to the training, taking advantage of the support by reading the posts. Creating and posting on your own blog. Asking for help when you need it, and helping others if and, when you can. Certainly there is an ebb and flow happening as we continue to build our businesses. But if we follow the plan by continuing the training, and continued participation in our community by communicating with each other, the low days won't be quite as low, and our mountain top days give us an opportunity to share with the community our enthusiasm and encouragement while traveling together on this journey to our ultimate success. Cheers.

Terrific advice Gary. A great reminder to embrace the struggle.

Lily 😊

Very true Gary. It's our character that can make it break us. Jim

Yes, you are so right. I am still a work in progress. Always will be. Thanks.

Who is n't Gary and who will ever not be a work in progress?

Reminds me of a quote from Keith Richards of the rolling stones: "You never stop growing until they shovel the dirt in"

Thank you for your down to earth thoughts.

Hi Gary some very good reflections, working on ourselves can be the best investment that we can make.

That is so true, Thanks for the reply.
