You know I always thought I was on top of my game when it came to my website. But I've suffered a blow out of nowhere this morning.

This could be your sever running at full capacity or your bandwidth is at maximum. Have you tried analyzing it ?

the last date of posting should not be an issue at all
there could be many reasons for it, all the way from your internet, your connection with your internet [I've one computer that will always load slow], and other things like images, banners, maybe you should put in a ticket with site support.
Are any other sites loading slow or only your website? And have you switched on Site Speed in Site Manager and are the images optimized. Also check your plugins are all ok.

To all commenting, it seems like I just needed to restart my computer. Weird because it was only those tw things that weren't loading fast but oh well.
Thanks to the commentators.
And if you find out it is nothing to do with your connection, I recommend that you submit a hosting ticket letting them know what is going on and they can investigate directly into your website and anything that could be slowing it down.
They are 24/7 and offer amazing support, so take advantage of them when you are in need.
