I got approved to become a affiliate of Viglink and I notice that Amazon is an merchant for them. But I know that Amazon has it's own affiliate program witht their own set of s
I kind of lost you there..
Here is what I found,.
VigLink must adhere to Amazon's Associates Operating Agreement in approving publishers to affiliate their content. Same applies if you make sales or not. Viglink adheres to the Amazon rules. :))

I checked Google's search console and my average ranking position is 47.6. I don't know whether that is normal or not, but I had my website for about 8 months now and I post li
When it comes to ranking Google search console is terrible, lol. You will need to have a tool like jaaxy to really see where you stand in ranking for keywords.
If you want to improve your rankings try getting more traffic. You can also do collabs or guest posting that will give your site backlinks.
Also make sure that you are writing quality content that people are find use for.
Having your images rank is normal and a good thing.

You can add so many links for a different basketball's cloths, sneakers, balls, and even make a review group in your menu where you can write about your experience which products are better, like maybe 10 best performance basketballs sneakers, or search for some new sneakers that are new in 2017 and write a review about it, etc, u have a lot of possibilities, so start with some of it :)
Your affiliate links are waaaay too low on our site, i think i saw just one link for some energy bar on it
