I want a theme that is mobile friendly. I want my menu items to be listed horizontally like they are on your website (Hero theme) in the training. If you can do the same thing
Generally, most themes these days are responsive (mobile friendly).
Typically it's best to have a dropdown on mobile, not horizontal menu items (unless you're really experienced with web-dev) because horizontal menu items will break on smaller screens.
You see, whilst many of use iPhones & the like, there are still many people browsing on mobiles with even smaller screens.
So I recommend sticking with a hamburger style dropdown menu for maximum compatibility :)
I'd love to get your feedback about how my site looks - https://dognutritionnetwork.siterubix.com
Will it create an income (once the website is finished and there is content)?
You've got with the GeneratePress theme & kept it simple, that's generally my #1 piece of advice... So yes, certainly.
Your biggest focus should be on securing a domain name next, though. :)

Hi - it looks much better now. The options are accessible through the menu, rather than crammed down the side as they were before.
You now need to continue with the training to learn how to start adding content and images. It will also suggest that you purchase your own .com domain, which is highly recommended for a better chance of success. This will be around $13.99 per year.
It's a simple process to transfer what you have done on this site to your purchased one.
Do be aware that a website is never finished, you should add 2 or 3 posts to it every week. It will be at least 3 months before you see any income and more realistically it will be 6 months.
