Bold move by the EU?
I wonder if the U.S. Congress has the courage, and reasons, to look into some things here? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
However, in the meantime it's weird isn't it?
I mean, we have to regard them as an absolute key in our success funnel, but at the same time we quietly applaud a momentary demise they might suffer along the way. I guess it's only human nature common sense, right?

Oh Google got slapped down like they have done to many webmasters. It will cost them more then it did the webmasters sites they slapped down.

Where else are you going to go to search for things? I don't think there is a valid competitor, right now they are sitting on a monopoly and I think that is part of the argument here.
They have gotten away with doing whatever they want and in specific, when you have a monopoly as they do and one that plays a roll in all of our daily lives, you have do have a specific duty to operate in an ethical way.
Hi, Kyle. I think when it comes to making all that money, and power goes to their head, ethics sort of get pushed aside.
Kyle.....it looks as though they used a different algorithm for their own ad search results, than they did for other advertisers. Which is a scary thought, because that means they can skew any search result to their own preference. As you say, they, "do have a specific duty to operate in an ethical way." I also read that their ad revenue is greater than all of the rest of the internet ad revenue. Significant to say the least.
