I've had this happen before, and this worked for me. When you're in Wordpress editor, try going under "appearance," then "customize," you should then be able to see a little edit icon on the page you're trying to edit. If you click on that, wordpress should direct you to where it's located in the programming so you can delete it. Hope this helps.

Can anybody please tell me if I can change a published post to a page and to do that? <
What I've done in the past is edit the post in wordpress and in the content creator, start a blank page. Then copy everything from the post to the page not yet named. Then in Wordpress put the post in the trash. Then name your page to what the post used to be. Hope That helps. ,
You can copy and paste using the Text tabs (not the Visual tabs) or you can use Post Type Switcher plugin. You don't need to keep the plugin after it's done its job.
