Where you are is perfect for you
Morning all you WAers.
What a wonderful morning here in the UK - it's raining for the first time in a long time, the extreme heat has gone and I have a huge smile on my face!
Thank you universe!
Just time for a little "thought or the day" before I continue painting my conservatory.
Thought for today
It's morning for me here in the UK, but for everyone else around the world, it might be lunchtime, coffee time, dinner time or even bedtime. You see each one of us is living our own life, in our own unique way and they are all different.
If someone tried to tell me now at 9 am UK time, that it was really midnight, then obviously I'd argue vehemently against that. And those people putting their slippers on and sipping their cocoa at 11 pm somewhere on planet earth, will say that it's bedtime and not breakfast!
You see we are all living a different 'reality' which is unique to us, our perspective (which has a lot to do with location by the way), and our experience. Much like my opening comments about the rain. To me today, the rain is heaven sent but if I had paid £3000 to go to the Caribbean for some sun and it was raining, then I might have a different perspective on it. But that's the point. It's MY perspective, based on MY expectations and desires and it's unique to ME. I believe that it's a completely valid perspective. I'm not asking anyone else to agree, I allow others to decide for themselves. Yes it's raining and it's 9 am here, but I can choose my reaction to that. Today, I've chosen to smile and give thanks!
Live and let live
We can all understand the differences in time zones, so why not allow ourselves to extend this and allow everyone else to have their own individual responses and ideas based on their own individual preferences and expectations? That way, we would allow a much more tolerant society.
What's more, is we would all feel better about ourselves because we wouldn't be trying to convince anyone that 9 am is really 11 pm, or that the rain is good or bad. We'd just accept ourselves and everyone else as well.
So that's my thought for today...
Be yourself and allow everyone else to be who they are too
Don't listen to naysayers, don't allow others to throw you off your chosen path - live it and love it!

I am glad your heat wave is over. The UK is not well equipped for heat waves.
