Conflicting emotions and some positive thoughts
It's funny how seeing and feeling the outpouring of unconditional love can make you feel sad, even when the very nature of unconditional love is the essence of eternal joy. A sadness for times past and an expectation for the future underpins much of what we all feel daily.
These are just some thoughts about my emotions today as I watch events unfold around the world and particularly in the UK, where I am based. We are in changing times.
I find that my emotions are conflicting - passing from sadness to joy and back to sadness, then questions abound about why. Like yin and yang which co-exist effortlessly together, you don't get one without the other.
And I know that it is just what life throws up sometimes, giving us the opportunity to learn new lessons about ourselves, and for which I am always grateful.
So here are some positive thoughts which I just wanted to share:
May all who have loved and lost find peace today.
May all who have given service and sacrifice for the benefit of others receive their reward.
May love and light continue to help our wonderful world through these uncertain days of transition from every corner of the globe.
We will discover solutions to all our problems.
We will learn to love, trust, respect, and accept each other.
We will live better together in the future than we have in the past.
We will find our way, as we always have.
We are one. x
Wishing every one of you an amazing day to grow and learn more about who you are and what you can achieve.

We all feel that way, Gail, especially in these troubled and sad times! It was so nice of you to put an uplfting spin on this post, my friend!

Thanks Jeff. It's been an odd few days in the UK here - new Prime Minister, Death of The Queen, new King. I'm not particularly a great royalist myself, but I can admire dedication, loyalty and undying devotion. And very interesting to see how we can get swept up in the tide of emotions, however, strong we think we are.
Hope you have a good weekend.
