Do you have to be a member of WA to promote WA and earn affiliate commissions from those promotions? If so, do you need to be a "premium" member? This is actually 2 questions
Hi you need to be a member in order to access the promotional links, but you don't need to be a premium member - the commission levels will be lower though for each referral.
Do you have to be a member of wa to?

If I were to purchase a theme for more customizations and a more unique look, how would I go about installing it here?
For anyone wanting to purchase Genesis themes contact me as I have purchased every theme they have and I am a licensed re-seller. I am willing to do some amazing deals for WA members...
(admin/kyle/carson if this isnt allowed then please remove this post. I dont want to step on any toes. Just trying to help WA members)
Gail here is Marion training Install Premium Theme When you activate your new theme Gail things will change up a bit but all your posts and pages will still be there
If you are interested in the Genesis themes pm me, I have some pretty cool options for you.
premium themes outside of WA are easy to install.. Just a matter of going to Appearance > Themes > Add New then upload the theme.
In regards to Genesis, you would install the genesis framework theme first and then add the child theme after that..
A child theme is a new layout based on the genesis framework..
If I purchase a genesis theme or other theme, how 2 merge?

I've got all the right boxes checked in "Discussion" and "Writing" and all that, but when I just go to my website like any other visitor, I don't see a comment box to make com
Hi Gail,
I read your post via the categories menu and found it interesting and hilarious at the same time, only from the point of view of the "people" who are supposed to know what they are doing getting it totally wrong.
Great the store was so helpful in getting it fixed.
By the way people can comment on your posts by clicking on the date below the post, which then refreshes the screen and shows the "please leave a comment field at the bottom"
Steve
I would like to emphasize Dreamer56's question.
Can you find that on your dashboard?
Oh, by the way, which theme is that?
It's called the "catz" theme and although I really like it's look and feel, it's definitely NOT user friendly! I did enable my comments everywhere I could do so; even installed the plugin "comment luv" LOL. Just doesn't seem to give a comment section at the bottom of my posts.
Ok. Hope more replies come in, otherwise you could re-ask in the top comment bar with a question mark and green box.
Sometimes there's a "busy spell"...
Best of luck with it.....
Cheers
Therese

When I do a Jaaxy keyword search, is there a "magic" QSR number I'm looking for?
Say the niche (topic) you've chosen for your website is "weight loss"; "weight loss" is a keyword - that's what people are searching for. BUT, it's a very huge keyword, meaning that you've got tons of competition out there for "weight loss"...so...you dig deeper. If you're using Jaaxy, put "weight loss" into the search bar, and at the end of each line of associated words that comes up for "weight loss", you'll see a "dig" link. EXAMpLE: "weight loss" ... extreme weight loss...fast weight loss...weight loss naturally...no-drugs weight loss.
All these are called keyword phrases and you can use them to find the best one to hone in on for your website (whatever that's going to e about).
Hope this helps! :)
When writing a post I like to make sure I have one or two under 100 and some keywords i used are between 100 to 275.
I probley have to say 100 or less if your just starting to get index with google. This might help you get more traffic easier
I agree, under 200 is fine, under 100 is ideal. The lower the better and make sure that the keyword makes sense (before you decide on it).
There are millions of keywords out there that fit this criteria so I don't think you are going to have any issues coming up with some awesome keywords. ;)

I love welcoming new premium members, making comments to help others...WHY would I have "reached my comment limit?" This is troubling to say the least!!
You can have mine!!! I can't keep up with all of the emails!!! Not enough focus!! I have yet to post a first blog no web page and the clock is ticking. Every month I pay to talk to everyone and I don't get anything accomplished is for me a waste!!
You can control it if you go to your profile page and under account settings you can control what emails you want to receive. We all agree that it can get totally overwhelming. I know there is good information in all of them but you have to just allow so much time during each day to look at them. I know; I have 250+ that I haven't read. Argh.
First of all, let me say I do agree that it can be overwhelming - but only because I allow it to be so. Being a part of a community such as WA fulfills something in me, whether I'm able to "help" someone or just encourage / welcome them. So for me, it's all about "what's really important". Also - and this is me just spit-balling, here - you might be a little like me : afraid of success. I've been a success in MLM (Herbalife, mostly) and in having my own, offline business for many years. But, I've always wanted to earn a "living" online, and 1 of my biggest passions is writing! I can't tell you how many romance novels are lying in a box beneath my bed in various stages of unfinished.
So I hear what you're saying!
Let's just make a "pact" that we will devote only so much time - say 1 hr. tops - per day welcoming / helping / encouraging / answering folks. ..and that we'll devote at LEAST 2 hrs./day to researching our topic/s, writing, posting, tweaking our sites, etc.
What do ya say? I'd be willing to share a "progress report" with ya once a week LOL.
Let me know! I'm "following you"
Be blessed with success.
It will be fun - AND, psychologically, it's a good thing to hold yourself accountable to someone other than yourself. I'm "in", too. Yea!! So...let's check in with each other say on Sunday evenings at some point and we'll check out whatever posts/etc. each other has done!
I have not done anything yet. This is where my block is. I don't know how to begin. I'm not sure how to "tie" a product in with my ramblings.. I'll get there..also part of the problem was figuring out a place where I can go to not be distracted...I live on pacific beach in San Diego...the breeze is gently swaying, my chimes are twinkling, the birds are chirping,...it's hard to sit here in the kitchen and focus when there is so much going on. Maybe I should move my space into a closet
Thank you for that 411... I'm definitely following you now!! Don't worry I don't respond a lot!!
you got that right, to easy to get side tracked. to many things going on.stay healthy wealthy and wise
Great advice. This need to be part of the initial training that goes into the starter membership. I've quickly discovered that the social part of WA can take over the more important need to develop and build your business.
I have never had this happen, but I would not worry too much about it. Wait until later on today or tomorrow and try again.....and you can always private message Kyle. He is very good at responding :-)
I think they are thinking if we do it all the time, it is maybe an attempt at spam. I've had it happen before when I'm welcoming new members, but I was still able to add comments on blogs and such. It is only for the day.
Seriously?? How could welcoming new Premium members be spam? I mean, isn't that what we're supposed to do - be active in the WA community as much as possible? Last night, late, couldn't sleep, I tried answering a couple of questions and got the same message. This really bothers me - if it lasts more than a day, is that WA's way of telling me to get lost? My rank HAS lowered very quickly...could that be the problem? Because rank is great, but I interact because that's what a community member should do - and I really enjoy it.
I like to welcome others too. I remember how great it felt when others left comments or welcome on my profile.
You're awesome! thanks for making me feel better...as long as they allow me to "reply", I'm good to go. Have a great day! :)
