90 Day WA Challenge Report from Gail - Week 12
Good evening lovely WA peeps!
Well, here we are at the end of week 12 of this challenge, very close to the end. Although in my book 12 x 7 is only 84 days, so I figure that I have another 6 days to go to get to the end of 90 days, so this will be my last but one post of this challenge.
All in all, I've had a solid week and I'm feeling pleased that I'm still working steadily on this challenge!
As today is the start of Autumn with the Autumn Equinox in the northern hemisphere (and the Spring/Vernal one in the southern hemisphere), it is a time to reflect on the things planted in the spring which have now come to fruition. It's also a time to reflect on what we want to let go of that we no longer need (like the trees shedding their leaves) and things we want to work on going forward.
I love celebrating the turning of the seasonal wheel so my daughters and I went out for a special meal, which was lovely. And now it's time to let the summer go and move into the new season with love and gratitude.
To remind you, we're in the very final phase of the challenge. Our targets for this week were:
✅ Weeks 9–12: Monetize + Optimize (September)
- Add stronger CTAs and affiliate links
- Update 3+ older posts for SEO or layout
- Create a “top tools” or “best of” article
- Begin tracking clicks or conversions
- Optional: Launch a lead magnet, opt-in, or email list
Focus: Let the machine work. Shift from growth to revenue.
So, here's my week 12 progress
- I have written only one new article for my site this week - but that means consistent publishing. Not surprisingly, if you know me, it's all about the Equinox and the myths, science and meanings behind this changing of the seasons.
- I have only updated 1 other post this week, but I intend to continue to update all my older posts to help get them all indexed and I've been working on adding more signposting, better links, FAQs and cutting out the waffle!
- Still no "top tools" or "best of" article this week but I'm OK with that. I'm not really sure that that kind of post really fits well within my niche anyway, so I'd rather stay authentic than try to force a particular type of post. That's not saying I'll never do one, but I just think there are more important things to fix first.
- Still no change in Google, so tracking nothing will lead to nothing, but I've decided not to worry - Zero percent rise on zero is zero. I think that if Bing and Yahoo are indexing my pages, then at some point Google will have to catch up!
- One thing I did do this week was to create many more reels and videos for my social media platforms.
- I also created:
- 14 Facebook posts, including 6 reels
- 14 new pins for Pinterest
- 11 social media posts for my other sites
- 2 WA posts
This week has been a fairly slow but steady one for me. I don't feel that I've 'set the world on fire' but I have kept slogging on with small things that will make a big difference in the end, I hope.
Final Goal Of This Challenge for Next Week
In the last 6 days of the challenge, I intend to consolidate what I've done since the start of the challenge and report back on things I've learned. I also intend to create another meditation video so hopefully I can report that next week, too.

I really admire your ongoing resilience, persistence, and amazing drive! Keep driving, keep going like a Boeing!
I love 2 things about this report - the weave in of the arrival of autumn & your non affiliate activities about that; and your 'i didn't get much done' followed by a list I would be proud of achieving! Well done as always. These are great posts & motivation.
MarkA (celebrating the arrival of spring Downunder).
Ahh, thanks, Mark. Glad it is helping in some small way, and super glad that you are celebrating the onset of Spring downunder! Such an exciting time. All the best. Gail
You are doing great, Gail!!!
I agree with you. Although I haven't reported faithfully on the challenge, I intend to go through with it until the end of the month when I want to go for another 90 days - basically until the end of the year. I'll probably join your challenge - the exact details don't matter to me - what matters to me is the mindset that I want to do the best I can for all my projects - websites plus book publishing - plus being there for my family and be happy with what I do.
And, like you, I don't need a 'Best of' post on my site. I have some 'Resource' pages with helpful book titles that I intend to monetize.
That sounds like a great plan, Isabella and as always, I'm very happy to be joining you on your journey here. We keep each other motivated and inspired. Let's set ourselves the goal of getting at least one book each out before Christmas. What do you think?
I love you sharing my journey. You are the main routefinder :-). We may occasionally need to retrace our steps, but that's ok too.
Getting a book out each before Christmas is a great goal!! Yes, let's go for it.

Gail, your post really hit home today. It was inspiring and honestly made me stop and think that I should go back and revamp a few of my older posts too. I’ve been focused on building a new site and just started Kyle’s new course yesterday, then got called out for work this morning, so it’s been one of those days. I really enjoyed reading your update and seeing where your journey is heading. Congrats on almost hitting that 90 days, that’s such a big achievement. You’re doing amazing, keep going strong.

Hey Shawn,
Did you actually stop the truck, just to read this? 😃
I can't wait for your next article, you're always so detailed and educational.
Laugh out loud actually, I was just getting onto a location, so technically yeah, I did stop the truck to read it! Had to wait on my load and the crane guy anyway, so figured I’d make good use of the time. But Lots of fun,
Appreciate the love. I’ve been thinking of ideas for blogs I’m building, thought posts, right now something new I’m trying deep dives some pretty wild stuff coming soon. I think it’s gonna get people pumped. Stay tuned!
Shawn
I can't wait! Thank you for your good work and determination! Have a fantastic week further!
No worries, But honestly it's all of you that make me great , i'm just a plain old trucker from the west , i appreciate ya.
Shawn
We may be inspiration, but you have the most significant contribution to your success!
I truly appreciate that. I have an inspiring blog coming out here tonight once I get done my shift and I can work on my laptop to make it more better because the cell phone is pretty hard to work off of but yeah, stay tuned. Thanks for everything.
