I bought a dotcom domain and transferred my siterubix to it which is running perfectly. Howveer I have a better dotcom brand name for my site so I want to change it . Would it

You can certainly move it vs changing it if that's what you mean.

You can use the move feature found within your site manager to move your dot com to your dot com, when you are ready. It is a simple process.

You would need to wait up to 30 days (Kyle's recommendation) for 301 redirects to be completed and for the search engines. After of which you MAY delete the subdomain however you could keep it for longer if hosting space is not an issue or for testing purposes such as themes, plugins, scripts, coding etc

You can check Kyles training tutorial below

yes move it from one dot.com domain to another dot.com dot.com domain. Thanks

Wonderful, kingly let us know if you were able to?

You can't just change your domain name as it's your website's address on the internet. You would have to register a new domain name and then transfer your existing website to it. Site Support can handle that for you or you can do it yourself with a backup and restore.
However, the actual domain name is relatively unimportant, as long as it matches your niche (which it does). Good, informative content targeting appropriate keywords is much more relevant to rankings.

Thank you for the information!
My reason for changing would be for brand products as the sire grows (wishful thinking maybe).which Kyle mentioned in lesson one but it only just dawned on me what he meant.
I will make a decision sooner rather than later before go too far with articles etc

If you have purchased your domain name already, since your current purchased domain already has a redirect to it, I could contact Site support and tell them what you are doing just to make sure things go right, because this will be the second redirect created.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support,

Yes it would be the second change but I really like the new name I purchased. I may have been a bit hasty with the first choice 🙄

Yes, I think your second name is catchy and great. It happens a lot that people come up with a better name later. Fortunately rankings don't depend upon the name, but its great to have a catchy name.

Do make sure you check with Site support because they may tell you to wait a little for the search engines to re index from siterubix.com to vinylxxxx.com first before you make the next move. Explain to them so they are aware of this.

Cheers!

Thank you ! Yes it may be better to wait a first. Starting to get little traction which is encouraging but dont want to cause any confusion

You can’t “change” a domain name. Once you’ve purchased it, it’s yours. You can buy another domain name and transfer your site over to it but then you will have two domains.

When I search my keyword niche I can see my website is on the first page in Bing ( not on Google first page yet unfortunately) but jaaxy say not in first page- why is it not s

Accurate enough taking into consideration disparity and updates.

Furthermore,

You may check out Site Rank in Jaaxy.

You may input your keyword and domain name.

First your posts get indexed and often days later down the line start getting noticed provided targeted keywords are searchable, new websites can rank efficiently.

But typically "authority" for a website starts to get established through time, usually the 3-6 month mark.

They fluctuate up and down the scale till Google decides where to place them.

Not all posts will get ranked, thus the recommendation to keep updating blog 2 - 3 posts a week and that's for the foreseeable future.

You may also like to review Kyle's resource
.

As an additional piece of info, Just because your post keyword phrase may rank number 1 in Bing does not mean it will rank #1 in Google search results. They are two different search engines with different ranking algorithms.

Hi - Jaaxy is checking if you have the keyword of "vinyl records accessories" in your articles, not in the title of your website. You don't get ranked on your website name, each article is ranked individually based on its content.

Ok great thanks! I guess that should be one of my articles soon

It takes time for Google to see that your serious about what it is you doing. The content quality is super important as well. Never the less keep putting out good work, sticking around, using Jaaxie n reaching out to the Wealthy Affiliate community for answer and soon you'll be on page 1 of all the search engines.

Signed up for several affiliates programs yesterday but when I tried Clickbank it refused me without explanation. Has anyone else had that problem or is it just me ??

I didn't have it with Clickbank, but I did with Amazon. I've been with Amazon for many years as a customer. Amazon will not accept my WA website. I asked for help on this but haven't received an answer yet.

Hi - I am surprised you are having this problem with Amazon, they usually accept every website even if it is brand new. Are you sure you entered the domain name of your website correctly?

Good question; I thought I did. I will go back and check it out!

No idea, you need follow up with Clickbank.

You can contact ClickBank by emailing payments@clickbankdotcom if you have any questions about your account's status.

Submit a ClickBank request
https://support.clickbank.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Hi - ClickBank is getting increasingly picky about who they accept. For example, some countries are red-flagged automatically, or they will check if you are using a VPN or disguising your details, etc.

However, do be aware that the majority of ClickBank products are digital, and downloadable such as e-books. They are not suitable for every niche if you are wanting to promote physical products.

Thank you for this information, I am from the UK but I am currently in the Caribbean so may be that may have triggered a refusal

Hello from Nottingham! If your place of residence is a different country from your bank location, then yes, you will be refused.

Hello from London and Anguilla - Thanks again!

You're very welcome!

You can always find "new questions" on the left hand side "dash broad" caption on Home. It can be difficult to see the left hand column. Doing a ctrl - helps.

You can use SiteRank, it is a feature available to you within Jaaxy (found under the Research tab).

See attached. There you can type in your website URL and particular keywords, and see where you are ranked (or if you are).

I hope this helps you out here Garfield.
