What is Stopping You From Achieving?
Facing our fears can be a game changer for all of us.
First we need to acknowledge that we do have a fear
What is Yours?
Is it simply fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of being laughed at, fear of the future, fear of financial pressure, fear of illness or death. fear of heights, spiders, the dark or the water. These are all legitimate fears and they are acquired through very legitimate experiences we have encountered through our lives.
They can be very debilitating and prevent us from achieving success in many of the choices we might like to make.
People might say things like "get over it" but it is not that simple. They have not walked in your shoes or been through your valleys.
I had a bad fall from a horse when I was a kid and I really did not want to get back on a horse again .....ever. My father insisted I get back on even though I was in pain, I had to show that horse who was the boss here. He was not going to get off with dumping me on top of some pasture harrows. . It was tough, my back was hurting, but he was right. This horse was not going to be my master but I was to be his. He accepted his place and we were good friends afterwards. My father made me conquer that fear early and it paid off. I was in charge and he did as he was told.
Get Back on Your Horse and Show Him Who is in Charge!
Your fear may not be a horse but it can still be conquered in a similar way. Allowing your fears to control you will severly limit your potential. You need to be the one in control.
Overcoming Fear in Business
It can be a scary thing to get your face out on Social media but if you want to be successful online you need to become a familiar face online, one people will want to interact with and that takes time and effort and committment, but you can do it.. Believe in yourself and your ability to overcome shyness or fear or whatever it is and name it.
Learn to find people with similar interests and connect with them.. Be positive and friendly and do not confront them with your business opportunity no matter how good it is until you have established trust with them. This can be difficult for some who have a fear of interaction with people they do not know.. This fear can be overcome.
People like to engage with other people not to feel they are just being sold to..
Do not be afraid to use your own profile picture. It is far better than any obscure avatar . People relate to people, not dogs or cars or suns etc. Be real and genuine. I try not to engage with people who are not prepared to show me who they are.

I seem to have a fear of failing. There is a villain inside my head that keeps telling me I can't do it. It's a battle that I'm sorry to say that the villain usually wins. But not with Wealthy Affiliate. I'm going to kick your butt Mr. Villain.

Must agree with do have a lot of dogs, cats and cars who are members. When I was in the RAF, if an aircraft went in, the squadron were all ordered to fly immediately. It sounds cruel but it used to work, what was the old saying "It is cruel to be kind"

I totally agree with identifying yourself with a photo. It really is much easier to trust someone who will at least show a picture of themselves.

I say this to myself for inspiration when I am feeling scared or insecure about something . Confidence will always overcome fear.

The US President, Franklin D Roosevelt was right when he said that. Fear can be so debilitating and prevent us from achieving our full potential. .
I have a bible verse which helps me, it is Phillipians 4:13. " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That gives me the courage to confront my fears in any circumstance.
Good on you Linda for acknowledging t. That is confronting the issue and once you have done that you have already taken the first step to overcoming that fear.There is a lot of help for content online. You can get Google alerts on your topic and work through the articles they give you. Rewrite the content so that it becomes your interpretation . The other thing you can do is use something like Fiverr where you can pay someone a small fee to write content for you.
It always OK to ask for help when you need it.

I ask myself " What is Stopping Me From Achieving?" Fear & Procrastination - my two enemies. Not being sure of what to write & writer's block.
My journey @ WA has been painfully slow & it is all my inaction.
I do have a personal issue that will not be solved for some time. Maybe I am using all of the above to stop me from moving forward here with the WA family.
I will come back to your various posts - to set me on the effective path to success here @ WA.
I will not quit!
